Hey guys whats up, well to make a long story short i have had EVERY madden from 95-07 and have never even tried a 2K game, a good friend of mine has been nagging me about buying this game since news of it coming out. So yesterday i go to the store and buy it.
THE GOOD
I must say i am pretty damn impressed with this game, i like the physics, the hits, the gameplay. AND I LOVE THE LEGENDS! Especially the guys from Tecmo Super Bowl! wheres marion butts? lol. The Graphics are NOT as good as Madden but this game is a Grade A example of how much graphics really mean when it comes down to it. The gameplay is awesome, i love all the moves you can use on offense and defense. The online server is flawless, something EA has NEVER been able to get right and it drives me crazy.
The BAD
Well I am a HUGE NFL Fan so a license would have been nice, i can definitely see myself getting tired of these legends. I made my unis exactly like the Giants lol Kicking is tough but ive only played 5 games im sure ill get used to it. I really wish we could at least edit the appearance and names of the generic players.
Between this game, NBA 2k7 and MLB 2k7 I must say i am just about converted, I am so tired of EAs lack of giving a **** about us and just throwing out crap every year and trying to wear out the madden name for all its worth. I will still purchase madden as I am a huge NFL fan but it is really nice to see someone compete with Madden and do an amazing job at doing so Well thats my review, i hope you read it lol..
