Have you played the generic teams yet? Last night I got stomped on by the Beast, on my game, they have 5 gold players 4 are silver and the last 2 are bronz. Could you imagine a franchise with this line up, it would get boring. Also I found a couple of teams that had 4 gold some had 3 gold and some had no gold. I also found a team with 7 silver. Are the teams randomly generated when the game starts or did 2k make them this way?

I spend enough time on a team just trying to pick the right plays, designs for outfits and even the right matchup of players to worry about getting into a franchise. Its more than enough management for me.

Enough said. Some people enjoy more than you do. They want to track stats, build a team, recruit, see which players shine through and watch as the league continues to change from year to year with good teams getting worse and other teams stepping up.

There is no reason for there not to be a franchise mode other than lack of time. I'll be looking forward to it in their next game.

In the meantime, I'm having plenty of fun with the current game.
