Hey guys, Ive been playing Madden since E. George was on the cover way back. I never played 2k5 but I have always loved to read in the forums the extreme loyalty of the 2k followers who hated madden. Well, after getting used to APF 2k8, and playing 13 ranked matches, I must honestly say that this is what football is about!!! This is SIM football, which is something Madden sadly has never quite achieved. No more being QB and running bakcwards to avoid the rush and fling the ball 40 yds without looking at your receivers and completing the pass!! I love this game, it grows on me every time I play it and find the little things that make me say WOW! Now, don't get me wrong, I will still be buying Madden 08 since I like to play with my Cowboys and I need to get my fix of NFL names in a game, but APF2k8 will remain #1 in this SIM players heart.
