Maybe I have missed this in this forum but I am surprise no one really has posted this as a topic...
But I decided to create this thread to see what team you created... Now you don't have to post pictures of uniforms or anything along those lines but atleast give us some info regarding your team including:
Name of Team (include City and Mascot):
On offense-
Starters: (You don't have to name all positions but just name your key starters)
What style of offense do you run (run oriented, pass oriented, or balanced team):
On Defense-
Starters: (See offensive starters)
What style of Defense do you run (run stopper, pass rushing, or balanced) ?
And anything else you would like for us to know about your team..
As for my team......
I am from the Carolinas and so its only fitting to create a Carolina franchise ( I know, big home state homer but who cares)
I actually changed the team around three times:
First, they were known as the Carolina Cyclones (but I thought it was too generic of a name)
Then they were the Charlotte Knights (but figured since there is a minor league baseball team in Charlotte called the Knights that I would eliminate that theory)
Now, they are known as the Carolina Flames
On Offense:
I run a pass oriented offense but try to keep it somewhat balanced..
QB- #12 Mike Richardson (Created guy, gold star player) = A Clemson standout who is leading the way for the Flames.. Good pocket presence but lacks the ideal speed that would make him an ideal mobile QB... Also his decision making can be somewhat questionable..
WR 1- #80 Reggie Law- (Another created guy, gold star player)= The standout receiver for the Flames, good route runner with soft hands who can catch in double coverage.. Not very fast but is quick off the snap and will beat a CB if the CB isn't careful..
WR 2- #15 Damon James- (Generic guy)= When I know he was a generic receiver, I didn't think he would be any good but passing to him a few times, he is actually turning out to be a quality receiver.. Pretty good on routes and fast on the run but has a difficult time following through.
RB- Robbie Hamilton- (Yet another created guy, silver star player)= Hamilton is one guy that I like because he is small and quick at the snap of the ball. On the outside run, he will beat defenders to the 1st down but inside, he has problems.. He is a tough cookie that will give defenders a run for their money...
The rest of the offense is a bunch of generic guys that I don't know much about..
Defense-
With the front four that I have, I am very much a run stopping team but can be very good on the passing downs...
DT- (This is where my legends come in at) Leading the DT pack is Mike Golic and William "The Frig" Perry
FS- Eugene Robinson
There are a few other legends I had on defense but I cannot think who I put on there...
So with that team, I feel quite good that it can turn out to be a good team...
