Has Anyone Played 'randar2099' Online in 2K8. . .

. . .because he is a Maddenite, who says that the game is 'easy' & 'inferior' & that he as a 'Madden gamer' feel it is his duty to blow us out & make us suffer & he also says:

I have played both games and now I frequent both boards and I see differences already.

1. 2k* ballers don't have stick skills to contain/stop running qb's
2. 2k* ballers hate to play so called cheesers their board is filled with guys constantly whining about cheesers.
3. Most 2k* ballers couldn't win online playing Madden and sought an alternative to avoid over stressing themselves .
4. 2k* ballers prefer to be called sim ballers because of their lack of stick skills (but no game is a complete sim).

Note: I am playing APF08 online until Madden08 comes out and now risk the admins at 2kgames dropping my online connections. LOL!

this is great...i hope all the "maddenites" buy this game and beat us ALL online. That is great for 2K...maybe it will scare EA into making a good NFL game that is sim. Or maybe EA will buy the license to FOOTBALL and nobody could make a FOOTBALL game. The more Madden people playing the better.

I think that 2K8 Should make fully customizeable rosters. This way there could be 2 ways to play this game. All-time (Legends mode...just like current season mode). and the League (fully customizable...this way you could make the NFL rosters by editing names, attributes and numbers).....

This way they would be competeing with Madden....without competing with Madden.

Even in the team editor....they should make names like Lions, Giants, etc. ...i mean it isnt like anyone has those names copyrighted.

Detroit Lions and New York Giants are copyright, though. And of course people would place the team name with the correct city.

Indeed , he is talking on the 'other board ' like none us can beat him. . .I just really started playing this game yesterday. . I think I'm just not getting the kicking, just a few hours ago . . . I practiced that for a few hours. . .alone!!! We aren't talking about the playbook analysis, etc. My but who I converted over last year who is a serious gamer is uncomfortable with the passing & the cadence. . .I've him beat guys (online) in Madden 53-9 & what not, we played 3 games he scored 1 touchdown. . .(in the first game before I adjusted my PB). . .who does he think he's fooling. . .like Maverick said, let them all buy it & make themselves. . .ahem. . .us 'suffer'. . .

I have played Madden for the last 2 years because I wanted to play online and couldnt stand 2k5 online (offline it was great!). I picked up 2k8 after hearing about the disconnects and lag, not being able to set audibles or depth charts offline for online in NCAA (I just cant believe that, EA what are you doing...are you guys that stupid). What he likes "stick skills" is exactly what I hated about madden. Its way to important when x and o's should be number one in a sim game.

I played a "maddener" I could tell by how he played. Ever play was the literal Hail Mary. When you go Dime package all of his recievers are on one side of the ball and the dime coverage some of the DB's are on the wrong side. This can be slightly stoped by playing man but he wound up losing big to me in the long run. His record was 0-7 and I think he doesnt really like the game.

Madden isn't realistic, it requires no football knowledge to win, and you sound like you're finding excuses to why you suck at offense. There's a thing called "balance" here that the Madden engine has never offered. There's a counter to about anything done, and I have yet to see freebie plays in APF, while Madden carries quite a few. Strike Three!

Please, when Madden comes, take you're cheap tactics and whiney self over there and enjoy those high scoring games playing against 14 year old kids who talk slang giberish.

You sound like a loser with sloppy fingers, crying about little kids, you probably couldn't beat a 14 yr old on 2k8 or Madden, when most guys are lame they start hollering about sim or strategy , true ballers can beat anyone, over 4000 posts you must be a admin or have no life!
There's no balance with your "charge" (that's realistic?) or created players, the freebies here now are when some one stacks there entire offense with legends , quit whining about Madden and hyping 2k , football is realistic when both opponents play realistic football, there are cheesers and glitchers in both games neither has the advantage over the other when it comes that!

If 4K posts in 4 years means I have no life, then I feel sorry for the folks who have 3K or more posts in the last three months. I just played this guy about an hour ago. He played well. I didn't see anything to complain about. I will say that he didn't use the pocket and decided to drop back 10 yards quite a bit, which I also didn't mind, because that was definitely not to his advantage.
