2 Player Offline Season

I want to get All Pro Football 2k8, but one of the big reasons is to play thru a season offline with one of my friends (a la Tecmo Super Bowl). Is this possible? Can we both create our teams and play a season?

If not, can we each create our own teams and play exhibition against each other?

u can play exibition but not season u can be on the same team in season tho.

How many custom teams can the game have? I heard it was 8, but is that per Profile, or is that overall.
