At e3 EA Sports announced an arcade football game called NFL Tour to add to their NFL exclusive license. I think this is just a counter attack to The Bigs which is an arcade baseball game and as you all know 2ksports does have MLB exclusivity.

You guys don't remember NFL Street? The NFL Arcade game that EA has put out for quite a few years now?

EA was doing arcade football for quite a while now.

Besides, if you're going to accuse anyone of copying then you need to throw in 2k's name in with EA since they both copied the sports arcade concept from Midway.

Yeah you first 3 guys are all wrong, like the one guy said they have made NFL Street way before The Bigs, so stop crying.

well I might be able to take that back farther, on sega genesis there was an arcade football game called "monster football" ah classic stuff right there. I'm pretty sure midway didn't make it either

Actually NFL Street 3 was ok for the PSP.. As far as PSP games go anyway... But yeah it was time to scrap that whole series anyway.. It was pretty much overdone after #2

You mean the mutant league football and hockey games they did? Yeah those were pretty cool.. And also done by EA.. ;)

I googled Monster Football and Monster Football Video Game and didn't come up with anything..

But I dunno if I'd call Mutant League a true arcade game.. It was basically done on the Madden engine at the time and just a few themed quirks thrown in..
