even though im dissapointed about the lack of franchise mode, i was very pleased (after i read the game instructions) with all the new adjustments and gameplay features the game has.

new features:

DEFENSE
-by clicking the right stick u can perform a BIG hit and believe me they look big
-very very nice regular, big, and especially GANG tackle animations.
-u can adjust a total fronts both the secondary and linebackers/lineman (front and shell)
-u can adjust an individual player's zone
-u can adjust an individual player's kind of blitz
-celebration animations after TD's and sacks
-QB spy

OFFENSE
-abilty to charge up QB by holding A to make longer bombs (passes)
-the running game is awesome and i actually see holes open up in the line and the FB blocking
-new playbook options coreesponding to your legend
-new offensive line adjustments
-u can switch a play without switching the total formation as u had to do in 2k5
-nice reciever (catches) and QB animations that look very real
-ability to break tackles once engaged by tapping A
-lateral button (d-pad)

OTHER
-tight online
-ability ratings
-customization for the teams
-real time sports ticker
-2k real maker: ability to make saved replays into a highlight reel

features missing:

-FRANCHISE! with that it would be one of the greatest football games ever
-the crib
-stadium music editor
-more gaming features in general (situation, tournament, even maybe mini games for the legends, etc.)

features to improve or fix:

-player creator: u can only put three stars on a gold player, what the heck, and more customization options for the player
-ability to edit generic players
-ability to play as one of the computers generic teams
-ability to create more players and teams
-season mode: more features
-and finally more legends tho im not complaining at the job 2k did to get wat they got
