I understand flex schedule now

Just played week 4 game against Buffalo. The first half was a defensive struggle. There was a 10 MPH side wind blowing and whoever had the wind scored. NY Flight scored first on a 33 yard pass to the slot and went up 7-0. Buffalo answered with a 46 yard field goal of their own; score 7-3. NY then hit a 62 yard stop and go bomb and went up 14 to 3 near half. It look like that would be enough the way the defenses were playing. but Buffalo stormed down the field and scored on a 18 yard pass right before the half and the score ended at half 14 - 10 NY.

It looked like more of the same when the second half began. Both teams stop each other and forced punts their was no scoring in the 3rd Quarter. At the end of the 3rd quarter Buffalo intercepted an out pass and promptly moved down as the 4th quarter began and scored on a 2 yard touchdown run by Lynch, and taking the lead 17-14. Chad Pennington got NY back fast as he hit on passes of 54 yards and 21 yards and moved NY to the goal line. Jones punched it over from 1 yard away and NY took back the lead 21-17. Next it was Buffalo's turn to move the ball, and Lynch was the work horse. With a beautiful off tackle scamper for 41 yards, then a 27 yard pass to Ruff Buffalo was once again in scoring position. Lynch punched in a 1 yard TD and Buffalo was back on top 24-21. Pennington threw to 4 different receivers on the next set of downs moving NY down the field and once again and Jones scored on a 3 yard burst up the middle to give NY the lead again 27-24. The extra point was missed an left the door open for Buffalo. Buffalo took the kickoff and promptly moved down field. With all 3 of their timeouts they looked to be in good shape as they moved the ball. A few stops in bounds and 3 timeouts later with 3 seconds left. Buffalo was forced to kick into the 10 MPH wind. The kick fell short and the Flight excaped Buffalo with a hard fought 27-24 victory. Thomas Jones was named the player of the game.

It was a pefect day for football in Raider Nation, Offensive struggles plagued this game, I couldn't hit the side of a skyscraper. Both of RaiderLegends scores came off of a defensive INT and a returned kickoff. That is until OT. He executed on a big play to his wide receiver and my D backs were too busy staring at LA girls in the stands. Oh and 3 picks didn't help either.

I thought of this at 330am this morning. (Yea woke up and couldn't go back to sleep.)
Since we are working a flex schedule, how does an injury work?

Let's say that you have played weeks 1 and 2 and then you bump up to say week 10. In the week 10 game, Manning (God forbid) got injured and he's out for say 4 weeks. That means in a normal schedule he wouldn't be playing in weeks 11 to 15. But with a flex schedule is he just out for your next four games? Or will the computer compensate for this and leave him out the following four weeks? This concerns me cause I feel the injured player needs to be out the FOLLOWING weeks of the game he was injured since it could be a factor - especially down the stretch when you need to win those games in December. I hope I'm making sense. Does anyone know?

Then if it's the next 8 games you play in order, whatever order it is, this is NOT good in my opinion. Takes the realism out. So if Manning is injured, I wanna make sure I play a team with a $#!tty defense so I have a good chance at winning. Proper sim football is out the window.

If thats the case we need to start over.
I would also suggest NOT flex schedule because of the injury factor. EVEN though flex is nice. It will also be much easiers to know WHO to schedule our games with.

I saw the poll but at work I can't sign in on league page. But I think we should start over and take away FLEX schedule as well, it is going to mess up injuries and also like my schdule with them having 2 pitts I play the titans 2 weeks in a row and am missing the cards on my schedule as well.

Small grips but think since we just a day in we should get it all on track right.

Then go to "ONLINE HOME" It should take to where you can click on "MOCK NFL" do that and you'll see where to go from there.
You've got until 10pm Central time, if you really want to be in this league then do this if not then don't, we need commited people because it's more fun with active players.
