:D

Microsoft decided to replace my 360 with a new one, I guess they couldn't fix mine. They gave me a tracking number and I should FINALLY be able to play this game by the end of the week. The only thing that I'm worried about is, they didn't transfer my service contract I bought through them over to the new box. They told me if I have any problems with this XBOX, then just call them back and give them the reference number I got when I bought the contract and they will be able to see that I bought one. That makes me nervous though, a lot of the reps at XBOX support can't seem to fully understand customer's concerns, and I know that if I have more problems, it will be a headache trying to explain to them that my XBOX was replaced and my service contract I bought last year should still be in effect.

yeah so true. by "new" I really meant "another one". I have no doubt that its a refurb, meaning that more issues are probably down the road which is why I hope they get this service contract situation straightened out before hand.

Well I haven't gotten it back yet, but I just got my tracking number today. I sent it in on the 5th and they got it on the 9th. I expect to have it by the end of the week, so I guess about 3 1/2 weeks. I think mine got in before MS decided to extend the warranty so mine must have already been "in queue" before the influx of xbox started coming in. I am sure they are pretty backed up now.

How long did it take you to get the Box? Cause I just got mine and it took like two weeks, but they told me I'll get it back in 2-4 weeks. I wonder if they'll send me this one back, a new one, or maybe the one I sent in Last December.

If your XBOX is registered with your gamertag, you can check the status online. Its much better than calling, because now you have to wait 20 - 30 minutes just to get a real person on the phone.

If you didn't know, a refurbished console is one which has been preowned and repaired.

Yep, I know, but I never trust refurb anything, especially when it comes to electronics.
