View Full Version : V.I.P Playback ingenious!

V.I.P playback is one of the greatest things I have ever seen in a sports game, I can go and download someone's "AI" and train against them offline *while* getting an inside scoop on what plays they run and all their playing habits. It's great! I've downloaded all of the V.I.P's for the people who top the leaderboards to try and discover what they're secret is and I have also done the same things for my friends I frequently play.

Who else thinks V.I.P playback is awesome!?

I didn't realise you could download online VIP profiles...how you do dat?I know how for NBA2k7 but couldn't figure this one out.

I could have sworn you have been able to do that since they introduced V.I.P.

Yep I do it on NBA 2K7 during the playoffs to get my opponents tendencies down.

You can also use their VIP in practice mode!

I created over 30 different team specifiv VIP profiles for NFL2k5...great fun.I don't know if they let you create multiples yet for this game.

You go to leaderboards.. or online lobbies.. or player list if your in a league or tourny. You then click the right thumbstick when you are over the person who's VIP you want, a little screen should come up that says "2k sportscard, Xbox live gamercard" select 2k sportscard and then when it takes you there push any direction with the right thumbstick (don't click it down like the first time) and a menu should appear like it always does when you push the right thumbstick. Just go down to VIP (It's one down from the top) and hit A. When it takes you to their VIP just hit A again and it will bring you to the download screen and again just hit A and voila!

Now to play their V.I.P just go to quick match in offline and press Y, scroll down to the bottom of the list where it says 'V.I.P playback" hit A then choose which V.I.P you want to play against!

P.S. It really is easy when you go to do it.. just hard to explain!

what i dont like is that offline my vip has stats and online it doesnt, everytime i check my vip online its at default so if someone was to download my vip it wouldnt play anything like me, i save my vip after every online session but yet it stays at 0, i wish it was intergrated or just autosaved so it would be better

It didn't accurately work for 2K5. I hope its improved.

That was the first installment...I did need to tweak the sliders a bit.I think you'll probably need to do that for this one as well, but not so much, and it seems to work a lot better than 2k5.

I am in love with the VIP feature.....I just wish you could set it to control CPU teams in season mode.....

ok...only issue I have is this...it does not replicate the player's team. What I mean is that you have to create his team on your own, only knowing his legends. What are his generic players set to do? What about if he has a created player?

How do you guys work with that?

Same thing in 2k5. I use to have to make all the right trades for the team and then plug in the profile.

BUT THINK ABOUT IT LIKE THIS.....

in the NFL real life they CANT PRACTICE AGAINST and ACTUAL team EITHER

so someone on NE has to PRETEND to BE L. TOMLINSON that week during practice:dance:
