You can't return opened games, this game would go back in a heart beat. I've always hated Madden games, and I used to love NFL 2k5. I guess I just lost my love for football games anymore. This game just feels very last gen, with very dumb occurances. First of all, it gets pretty annoying to see Jerry Rice miss a catch and have it hit him on his helmet when he's wide open. Also, the QB movement feels like you have no control what-so-ever. All the animations mixed in with his movement, make it feel very cheesey. I can't ever get the QB to stop moving half the time. My last gripe is the defense, maybe it's because I'm used to Maddens now or something. In my opinion, it seems impossible to bat down passes and get in their way. I was soo excited when I heard 2K Sports was going to make another football game, but this one was a let down. I wish I would have saved that 60 dollars, or bought a new steering wheel for my racing games. I'm done with sports games now though I think, this game just did me in because it's sooo frustrating... Thanks 2K for trying to make your fans happy, and maybe they'll enjoy the game more than I did.

It takes about 2 hours to adjust from the craptacular gameplay and controls of madden. After a full day, it comes back like you never put it [2K5] down.

sounds to me as if you haven't really learned to play this game because i have no problems with the qb, and i knock down passes and intercept them all the time, put some time into the game and learn to play realistic football teams and players arent the only thing that make a game most of us real gamers like actual gameplay. take time to get to know the product before you are so quick to dismiss it, i play online and i win more then i lose but i make sure that i know how to play d-fense isnt that hard i mean some people can have offensive machines but learn when to play a pass d and you will knock down balls

My first impressions of this game were complete trash... but now I'm loving it. You really have to spend some time with it. If you aren't willing to get past that outer layer of awkwardness, you are going to miss out, trust me!
