The site is slow because of all the digg traffic. Digg is awebsite that users can submit stories for the community to vote on-they 'digg' it if they think it's a good story and want others to read it.

I would not have submitted the story had i known this site couldn't handle the traffic. I love to go on forums and read what others are talking about in a particular game just like all of you, and it sucks when sites crash.

Here's a link to the story Player caught cheating (http://digg.com/xbox_360/Xbox_live_user_caught_freezing_players_systems_ove r_the_network)

Actually it's not real difficult and even if it WASN'T him, I believe he would claim it was

Seems he went on a binge after being banned, got drunk, and went smashing servers:

(Actually, there were some serious power outages in San Fran yesterday - routing to the site was probably hosed by it, but I'm told the database issues are apparently unrelated...)

Was it ever established HOW he froze the game, and IF he actually froze it? I don't care about the technique he supposedly used, but I would favor it being published. (Security through obscurity isn't security at all, vulnerabilities must me brought to light in order to be fixed.)

I'm not sticking up for the guy. He was obnoxious, and I was sick of reading his crap. I even filed a complaint on XBL against him. But that "video proof" showed an xbox that appeared to be locked up. The xbox is an overheating turd that locks up all the time. Mine locks hard once per week, at minimum. The video proved nothing to me.

So I say again, rip on the guy all you want. Someone that talks that much trash deserves it. Buc come on, this actually warranted a digg? Bah. Digg is pretty much unreadable anymore because of crap like this.
