Seriously is there really no teaching mode in this game? No in game manual?
No training camp to learn the aspects of each player?

10 buttons and two control sticks are used to control players.

No help from the game eh? Just gotta sink or swim?

PLease tell me I missed something and it is in the game. (something besides practice scrimmage mode)

The instruction book gives you all the controls and practice mode lets you practice them to your hearts content. What more do you really need?

If you have played 2K5, it should come as second nature.

i don't think there is... but it took me 5-10 minutes to read the instruction booklet (only the offensive/defense and pre-snap controls).

after that, all the controls and buttons are so intuitive.. as you read the book your brain will say "oh of course, that makes sense"

its not something you will easily forget or have to go back and re-read over andover. all the new options are really easy to remember after only using them once.

No, but there is a practice mode where you can do offense online, full scrimage, field goal, kickoff, and special move practice (basically your running back against one defender) so you can practice jukes, spins, stiff arms whatever.

Go to practice mode, what more do you need?

You won't have some shmoe talking to you and teaching you things but I never saw the need for that in this game.

What does and how does *charging up* work? I know I press A and hold it, I'm supposed to do something after it? or during it's vibrating... it seems to stop vibrating after a little while too. Am I missing a huge chunk of fun gameplay because I haven't used it to my advantage?
