My cousin and I got the game today and just started to try to play. We don't want to create teams or anything, we just want to play as two computers teams against each other. Unfortunately after making us create a team, it makes both of us play as that team. Can someone PLEASE tell me how to just play a regular exhibition game?
I am really annoyed already and am ready to return this game. PLEASE someone help me.

I think people can only play as created teams. However, you don't have to go through all the steps. Just go in to create a team, let the cpu pick the roster for you, then choose a logo, and the uniforms, stadium, team name, and city name will all be created for you. You can edit these if you want to, but you don't have to. If you're satisfied with what the cpu has provided, just save the team and you're done.
Next time you and cousin want to play, you'll have two created teams to choose from.

Do what the guy above me just said. As to your second problem, you can create up to 8 teams. Make sure you have at least two created. And when you go into the Quick Game, you should be able to use the bumpers to select the created teams that you have. That way, you can both play with different teams...

Just so I understand this right, I can NOT select one of the CPU teams? Weak.
Why must they make it so difficult to just go in and play. Looks like this one is a return. Too much effort, I just want to go in and play a game without having to create teams, logos, etc.

You must be really lazy then. It honestly takes less than 5 minutes to create a team. You don't have to customize the logos or jerseys, you can just use the colors/logos they give you. I really can't believe that you're returning a game because you can't pick up and play in less than a minute...and once you create the teams, you can play in less than a minute. Heck, the load times are less than 10 seconds...

That is a problem but I would think the CPU teams should be accessible.

haven't tried this but i read in an old thread that you do a cpu vs. cpu then when the game starts you can switch sides. i don't know if this is true though

Yes, you have to create two teams to play one game. However if you want to switch teams up and try different ones out you have to create another one.
I really think that with the exception of NHL series, I am done with 2K sports. They seem to get worse and worse, like they take their previous success for granted.
I was so excited for this game and now it just seems like a huge waste of time.

Have you even played the game? It honestly feels like real football. And you think it sucks because you can't control CPU teams that can have 4 gold stars?
