Now I know why some people have been complaining about graphics. When I first got the game and popped it in, I was like wow... these graphics are a lot better than i expected. I own an HDTV (37" i believe), and APF 2k8 looks amazing on it. Unlike most games where you zoom in and find less details, blurry edges, and an overall pixelated look, APF actually gets MORE detailed as you zoom in, and it looks amazing.

I wanted to show my friend this game, so I took it over to his house. We played in SD, and wow, the game looked absolutely terrible. It honestly looked like it belonged on the Nintendo 64 it was that bad. In fact, after about a quarter, we stopped playing because the game looked horrendous.

So, if you complain about the graphics for this game, make sure you get an HDTV. It literally makes a world of difference. In my opinion, the graphics on this game look much better than NCAA 08.

p.s. As a little side note, after we turned the game off, and tried to turn it back on later, my friend got the 3 red lights.... haha, sucks for him... I guess the tv was trying to tell us how crappy the game looks in standard def...

It doesn't look crappy on my standard def Toshiba 32 inch. Looks quite nice.

Man, maybe you should brush up on your friendship skills; you won't keep many friends if you laugh when their expensive equipment breaks.

It's ok. He's taking summer classes at PSU so the only one who is effected is his little bro. Plus, MS extended the warranty to 3 years for the 3 red lights... so no biggie

I just got a funny picture in my mind of you as the "ha ha" kid from the Simpsons, when your friend's Xbox 360 broke.

Man, I need to get out more.

from gaming view the game looks like 2K5.5 and im playing on a 51inch HDTV, NCAA 08 looks much better from gaming view but doesnt look as good as APF in close ups.

No its not, because there isn't a graphic change between madden 07 and 08. The only thing they changed was control.

Honestly the only change is the player models, that's it.

Your best bet is to go to the xbox forums and look under their Technical Help section. You might need to give specifics (like TV, cables, etc...)

Hook your 360 up with the VGA cable to your HDTV, works for me and mine looks sweet.
