Now I know why some people have been complaining about graphics. When I first got the game and popped it in, I was like wow... these graphics are a lot better than i expected. I own an HDTV (37" i believe), and APF 2k8 looks amazing on it. Unlike most games where you zoom in and find less details, blurry edges, and an overall pixelated look, APF actually gets MORE detailed as you zoom in, and it looks amazing.
I wanted to show my friend this game, so I took it over to his house. We played in SD, and wow, the game looked absolutely terrible. It honestly looked like it belonged on the Nintendo 64 it was that bad. In fact, after about a quarter, we stopped playing because the game looked horrendous.
So, if you complain about the graphics for this game, make sure you get an HDTV. It literally makes a world of difference. In my opinion, the graphics on this game look much better than NCAA 08.
p.s. As a little side note, after we turned the game off, and tried to turn it back on later, my friend got the 3 red lights.... haha, sucks for him... I guess the tv was trying to tell us how crappy the game looks in standard def...
