Do you think generics have more depth than meets the eye or are they all created equal?
Do you think they just get one ability like: a pocket QB just has the pocket passer ability with generic tier skill ratings?
I'm not so sure. Call me crazy but I could swear these guys have personality (more than one ability)
I found a generic QB (yes, I rock the generic QB non-stop, and own balls) who has an excellent play action fake. The first time I saw him run the PA fake, I was like  because it looked so odd. But then I viewed the replay and watched the corners, safeties and LBs bite on it hard. And not just once, every time. This guy is golden.
Another thing I noticed was the left footed kicker. I passed on this guy previously because kicking with the lefty was tougher for me (this is back on release day). But I gave him a shot last night and he seems to have a small edge in kicking power. I was kicking to the 5 yard line with 0 wind whereas my other kicks in 0 wind conditions barely squeaked by the 10 yard line.
Rehberg, an ILB plays like a man posessed. He seems to have the run reader and run coverage attribute. He out performs any silver/gold ILB pick ive had when it comes to stopping the run.
William Lett anyone? Seriously. Come on. This guy rocks so hard. I've had him a few times and he just seems to be stronger than most other generic D-linemen.
Malbrough, SS or FS, hell, maybe even corner I can't remember. Interception king.
