I'm trying to love this game. I love hockey, and I loved last year's. But Holy Smokes, I need a little help with this.

It's not just the scoring problem, although that's most of it. Is it my imagination, or are goalies sometimes beaten by slapshots and wristers in the NHL? Beacuse it never happens in this game on Pro level...

It's the little things. Why, oh why do I have to go to two totally separate screens to arange my personnel? Why on Earth does the puck BOUNCE STRAIGHT UP INTO THE AIR off my (all alone) player's stick, as though it hit an invisible obstacle on the ice? Why in hell, in 6 games, are ALL of my 5 measly goals on one-timers? And why, on one of them, did the puck clearly pass straight through the blade of a defenders skate? (Collision detection, anyone?)

Please help. I want to feel the love, I really do. But it's not easy.

Wow. They edited out H- E- L- L. Also known as H E double hockey sticks, coincidentally. Amazing.

When I play on Pro offline i take the goalies down 1 click. This tends to have more NHL style scores. All sorts of different shots will get past the goalie but the goalies are still very good.

TO bad sliders cant be adjusted online.

I find I get more powerplays than the computer....but I can't score on them...well...I can only score...like never.

Edit the goalies? I edited all goalies, and all of them are now down to 50's and 60's overall.

But I'm not using the goalie edits on Pro. I find it ten times funner on Pro because I can score, and so can the comp. I got a great set of sliders for people on Pro difficulty, so if ya want em, tell me, I'll post em.

Lately I've figured out scoring is all about getting in the shots :)

If I have an open shot when I cross the blue line(on pro), I take the slapper going for high/same side and occassionally sneak it in. One-timers are good, though I wish the comp did something else besides them. Only way I've ben able to score wristers is off deflections.
