Depends on the new features, but from what I know now I think this is what I'm gonna do:

1. Dunk Contest
2. Practise Mode to see if there are some new moves, dunks, layups
3. Change the sliders
4. Quick Game to check the in game gameplay and if they changed something about the arena's or the people
5. Change the gear if necessary
6. Update the rosters
7. Starting an association

Play a few quick games to get a feel for the game play.

Once I'm comfortable, start an Association.

That cant be because the highest in 2k7 is rip, hes got a 92, he was
(55-120 3pt= 45.8%)

Kapono was (108-210 3pt=51.8%).
He hit more and with a bigger average, theres no way hes going to be 91.
I think hes gonna be a 95.

First thing I'll do is fix the player ratings, this is the only complaint I have every year. They never rate the players right...it kills me.

2. go to main menu and check it out. scroll thru all sections/features
3. practice mode
4. sign online and update rosters
5. play quick game with like orlando or portland to check out their changes as teams and changes in the gameplay/arenas/other stuff
6. check out the other features. dunk contest, etc.
7. check out the create a player feature
8. start a chise.

THIS YEAR I WILL NOT PERFORM THE OFFSEASON UNTILL MY CHISE IS COMPLETED. makes things alil more anticipated

I'll see what the new player creating features are(last year' sucked), then I'll create myself that way I can visually see one of my dreams in life because I know it won't actually happen. THen I will create a team if there is new logos and if I can customize the colors and everything else. I also want to be able to delete myself off free agent list that way there isn't two of me in Assosiation.

Then I will play any new game modes. Then I'll start an assosiation.

Then I'll go into practice mode with Pierce, Garnett, Allen, and the gang. Then once I get used to it, I'll play a bunch of games before I start my association.
