I think 2k8 should capture not just the signature dunks but also the signature type of dunks and even layups players do. As in I should see Lebron throwing down one handed power jams more than I see him doing windmills and stuff. (not saying he can't do them just that he doesn't that often) I also want to see Dwight Howard get the offensive rebound and pull the rim down on his dunks. not doing just a weak little one hander. so not just the specific dunks but whole different dunking styles.

yea, i think 2k8 should assign special 'signature moves' packages to all the superstars (i.e. dwight and oden's power dunk, wade step-back bank shot, duncan should bank shot all the time, lebron's dunk, etc.)

yeah that's what i'm saying and not just signature moves but signature styles. I don't want people that have a good dunk rating to do the same dunks as the other people all the time. vince should have a couple of those high reaching dunks he does these days and like I said lebron should do his strong dunks which should just fly through the rim and someone has to go get it real fast. haha that would be awesome.

It's in 2k7...

I've done elbow-in-rim dunks as VC and Kobe's reverse

But there are only two, VC's elbow dunk, and 360 windmill dunk

and i have done kobe's reverse with jamal crawford, joey graham, t-mac, lebron, wade, josh smith and dwight howard. so its not much of a signature dunk anymore, is it?

I think what 2k7 did last year was assign a dunk package to certain players. For instance a player like Nate Robinson was more likely to attempt an athletic dunk whereas Dwight Howard is more likely to attempt a two handed power dunk. Only a few of the players actually had signature dunks. This might be something that will take a long time to appear in the game. It is much more complex then adding signature shots since each player has several dunks they feel comfortable doing in a game.
