Also, at 6'8" he is bigger than Mike, which helped him with the power of his dunks.
Vince was great...much more than a dunk contest dunker...some of the most amazing in-game dunks.

Yeah,but we talking about a different era, Vince had lots of good in game dunks but so did Jordan and Nique, And also unlike Vince, They were in more than 1 contest.

Hands Down VC. Best in-game dunker and but you can't really rank him in Dunk Contests, cuz he had only 1, but that 1 showed what he was capable of had he been in more. He has power, style, grace, and finesse with his dunks. Jumps incredibly high and not afraid to jump in traffic. Youtube Vince Carter and his Top 100 dunks will come up. Watch it and that is proof enough.

Vince Carter hands down best dunker ever. Great in game dunks. He dunks with style, power, and finnesse better than anyone I've ever seen and was never afraid to try new dunks that people have never done before during a game.

Carter hails from the dunking prowess of predecessors Jordan and Nique. But now he has an edge because he delivers with great passion, style and creativity not only in Dunk Contests but in regular season games as well.

Ricky Davis don't make the list because of one dunk on steve nash.
Same as for others like Lebron James, he never been in a dunk contest and his
in game dunk lacks variety. Plus he's still a new guy compare to others on the list.

2)the docta julius ervin (came up with most of the dunks)-plus his jumping ability (length wise) was further than anybody else ever had.
3)nique-power and smoothness. put them togethor perfectly
4)kemp-straight up in your face power. this guy could straight up jam.
5)david thompson- most people don't know about this guy but his vert was unbelievable. he was in the first ever dunk contest with dr j (the aba one) and trust me this guy could dunk.
6)j-rich- i just think he has the grace but doesn't also have the power as some of the guys before him. smoothest dunker of all time right here. even above jordan.

I think VC is the best dunker of all time. I don't think he is the best Dunk Contest winner. But as far as the game goes - VC is the best hands down. I think he's purposely dunked over just about every dominant center and pf in the league. Although his knees may not work in 2-3 years - he still has a lot of ooos and ahhhs left in him...

2nd - Shawn Kemp - Cause he tried to rip the rim down every time - even in traffic

3rd - MJ - Cause he has all too many dunks they were spectacular in game and in contests

4th - Kobe - Cause his dunks are hard and seem effortless - can dunk at will on anyone.

5th - Nique - Cause his dunks were superbly done and way above and started far from the rim.

Also if hes so good why did he only do one dunk comp??? maybe ran outta dunks.. i also think Harold Miner is missing from that list he's windmill in my opinion is better and more powerful then vince's. bottom line is vc is a best dunker. jordan didn't do anything to help vince carter. name one dunk that he did that carter copied off him. nique is great but doesn't have the agility of vc. and dr.j was definitely great but i would put vc over him.
