did 2K overhaul the entire graphics engine? will the crowds/stadiums look better?...i know the players faces and stuff look pretty awesome...

Its awesome isn't it. Its like MLB graphics on Hockey players.

If you go to gamespot and look view the screenshots of 2k8, they have a side by side comparison of 2k7 vs 2k8. Everything in 2k8 looks better, faces on players, arenas, the ice, equipment. Everything looks 10 times better.

check out the new screenshots on the games site. The features-list has two additions, written out of todays press-release; nothing really new to read, but at least something new to look at.

X360 is way better and I think less than a PS3 even current gen an xbox is way better than a PS2 as far as grapphix. N64 was better than the Playstation. (Zelda)

^I'm on of those basketball fans, Savoie.
This game looks miles and miles ahead of any sports title releasing in the coming months...MILES AND MILES. Someone made a comparison with the MLB engine, and thats a good point. I hope they share resources for APF and NBA next year, that's for sure. My hats off to 2K, great job.

The game is to be 1080p and 60 fps . . . so they have sure worked on the engine. I don't think it is a totally new one though.

These guys really need to share the resources...because NBA 2K8 is starving compared to this!
