yea i heard. the celtics have gotten rid of everyone. don't forget how many people they gave up for ray allen. plus the celtics are givin up a couple of first round picks in this deal. i think the timbs get something out of this too. al jefferson is close to a 20 and 10 per night player. gerald green is developing, theo ratliff is solid, telfair is developing, but i would've tried to get allan ray too. i think he'll wind up being a great three point threat in the future. as it stands now allan ray and ray allen are on the same team.

if they go through with dis trade...they woould only have 8 players on their roster..meaning they would hav to sign free agebts...all the good free agets have already signeed contracts..meaning....1 injury to the celtics big 3 and they are done b/c they hav nooooooo bench

Do they even have enough money, because KG was the highest paid player in 06-07, and Allen and Pierce are paid over 10mill. signing good free agents would be pretty hard.

I have to admitt it: I'm a big Spurs fan,, but now the Celtics are killlers,,, Boston have 2 of my favorite player: KG and Allen........ , Pierce is a killer too.. I guess the NBA Finals will be: Spurs vs. Celtics,,,waooo,, what a matchup: KG vs. Duncan,,,Parker vs. Allen,,,,,,Manu vs. Pierce !!!! Big Three vs. Big Three !!!!

^^^^ nah man. i don't think the celtics will beat the heat(if they stay healthy), cavs, or pistons. these teams have chemistry. the celtics are going to have to develop that. plus just look at how having a lot of scorers on a team goes. just look at the wiz. antawns a 30 a night, gilberts a 30 a night, and carons a 25 a night but them all bein on the same team lowers their stats. so playing as a team matters more than a lot of stars.

i'm not saying they are as good but i am saying that this will happen to the celtics. here's another example. the denver nuggets. they didn't have chemisty so they went out in the first round with camby, iverson, and melo. i know the west is a whole other beast but still. the celtics will go nowhere without chemistry. kg will want the ball, pierce will give it too him, and if kg doesn't have the shot he kicks it out to ray ray. this sounds easy but there is way more to it. basically when has garnett ever made his teamates better. same with allen and pierce. the celtics will need an experienced pg to handle this and i'm sorry to inform u that rajon rondo is not there yet. remember when the timbs were good cassell handled the ball (an experienced pg), and the celtics and sonics never did anything so no need to explain them.

bottom line is without an experinced player to distribute the ball to all of these stars it's not going to run fluently.

Im probably the only one who thinks this is a horrible trade for Boston...They send GG, AJ, ST, Theo for one player who is aging? I love KG but this is a awful trade for Boston...Simply because they dont have any type of supporting cast...Maybe besides Rondo...

Yes the lineup looks great...But what are they going to do if one gets injured? Or even 2? They will basically be a D-league team...But yeah I think as ALL 3 are on the court together...Nobody in the NBA will be able to stop them.
