BULLS: MAJOR CHANGES AT COACHING STAFF
It was a suny afternoon, and it seemed that the clear day would be peaceful. But the Bulls changed the day. The university announced this afternoon a bomb for the weekend: Coach Reggie Witherspoon is fired. Nobody expected it. Not after a 17-12 season. But it happened. The substitute is Luke Falknor, a coach who came out of nowhere. Nobody ever heard of this guy. Will he be able to push the Bulls to another level?
Nobody knows, but what we do know is that coach Witherspoon was clearly going in that direction. Now coach Falknor needs to rebuild this team. He will have a tough job. With a team full of freshmen and sophomores, his lonely star is Greg Wise, the junior point guard who can give this team some hope. But it will be a tough task, since that Wise is one of four juniors in a team with no seniors. It means that expierence won't be a factor for this squad.
Coach Falknor brought with him two assistant coaches: David Tucker and Steveroy Jones. Both of them are known for their scouting and recruiting abilities.
Although we don't know when coach Falknor will bring consistency to his fast-break coaching style, the board expects nothing less than a .500 record for this team.
Definately a tough job for a newcomer, and it becomes even more disturbing when we realise that there are no senior in this squad. The sunny day ended stormy. Only black clouds in the air. No one knows what is going to happen now. Future? Uncertain.

Tks for welcoming K Bomber. My english isn't perfect, so I'm going to have some difficulty on writing, but I hope you understand it. Just wan't to make sure that I started writing this legacy because of yours. You invited me to a perfect world of sharing experiences with our legacies, and that's what I will try to do.
If my legacy becomes 10% of what yours is, I'll be extremely happy and satisfied! Now GO BULLS, and GO MOUNT!

HOFSTRA PRIDE SHOWS BULLS WHAT BASKETBALL IS LIKE
Carmelo Anthony had his sweetest moments at the Carrier Dome. Coach Luke Falknor definately doesn't share the same feelings about this arena.
On his debut as the Bulls head coach, The Hofstra Pride teached Buffalo how the game of basketball is played. Paul Bowens, Hofstra's junior swingman, torched the Bulls with 19 points, 6 boards and 7 assists. He was unstoppable.
Despite the loss (62-55) by a 7 point margin, the game was never close. The Pride had a 17 point lead by halftime. The only moment when the Bulls lead the game was in the beginning, when the score was 8-2. The team looked lost in the gigantic arena. Probably they just stared at Carmelo's stage and forgot they had a game to play.
Greg Wise, Buffalo's best player, didn't show up. He had only 2 points and 1 assist. If coach Falknor expects to end with a .500 record, Greg Wise must play better. But not all were tears and sadness.
The center freshman Carlton Simms showed a lot of promise. the youngster scored 10 points and grabbed 11 boards, having a double-double on his first college game. The junior SF Brooks also had a respectable game, ending with 13 points, 6 boards and 3 assists.
We expected more from coach Falknor. That includes talking to the press, as he refused to comment on the game after the horrendous display by the Bulls. If Falknor wants to remain in charge of the Bulls, he definately will have to do a much better job. With or without his star Greg Wise.

MIKE TUCKER: AROUND THE HORN
by basketball columnist and pessimist Mike Tucker
Luke who?!?!?!? C'mon, let's face it: the Bulls are going to have their worst season ever. Please don't say I'm pessimist. It's just the truth. The pure and simple truth.
How Buffalo board dared to fire head coach Witherspoon? Are they out of their minds? After a 17-12 season, it was a change that rocked my tiny world. I was just sitting on my couch, listening to Beethoven's 5th Simphony when I heard that stupid news.
Luke Falknor, a coach with nothing to offer, that nobody ever heard of, in charge of MY Bulls. Let me just give head coach an advice: if he expects the Bulls to play like they did against Hofstra on saturday, he'd better escape my rage. Because I'll brake the doors from the Alumni Arena and I will kill him with my bare hands. That is a promise.
But let's see the positive things. After all, Greg Wise, the star player, often compared to Allen Iverson (of course I'm not talking about basaketball, but his off-court problems), played horrendously against Hofstra. Perhaps coach Falknor saw the same game I did and take that ******* out of the starting 5.
And thank god for Carlton Simms!!!! That boy definately is going to be a big part of the future for this squad. I saw hustle, talent and sweat. The boy deserved the win! Well, he deserved, but coach Falknor didn't. Next week I come back with other misfortunes by coach Falknor.

Tks! :D
It's hard to keep up with the standards that you guys set. I'll do my best, and hope to keep you entertained. As it is my first experience with this awesome game, I'm having a hard time to learn how to play it, the controllers and all. I'm using the default sliders for now. When i get a little better i'll probably use some of the sliders posted here (either hotshot or elprez is fine), and who knows when i'll start role-play, but for now i hope i can write some good stuff for you to read.

BULLS WIN FOR THE FIRST TIME
After the horrendous game played against the Hofstra Pride, nobody expected less from the Bulls. Coach Falknor took the blame for the loss, and said that things would change.
The Bulls head coach didn't talk to the press after the game, showing a lot of frustration, kicking some chairs and leaving without a word. On the next day he called a press conference. He apologized for his behavior on that night, and said that it won't happen again. He also said that he definately doesn't like to lose. It doesn't matter if he is playing against the Hofstra Pride or the Syracuse Orangemen.
But let's go to the game played last night. It was Falknor's first game at the Alumni Center, the Bulls arena, and the fans expectations were high. The team didn't let their supporters down, as they defeated Canisius 53 to 36, with the lead never being threatened.
About halftime, the score was 22 x 17 for the Bulls, and the freshman sensation Carlton Simms already had a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards. It was a monster performance by the freshman, as he gave the fans a glimpse of what is coming for the rest of the season.
For the second half, Simms slowed his pace, and scored only 4 points and grabbed 2 boards, ending the game with 14 points, 13 boards, 1 assist and 2 steals. Nice numbers for a freshman, who was selected as the player of the game. Howard Brooks, the junior forward, scored 13 points, while the star Greg Wise, after a weak performance against Hofstra, showed his pride and scored 10 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished the ball five times.
After the game, we talked to Wise. He said: "I know a lot of people don't like me, but I'm here and I am the go-to guy. No freshman is going to take that away from me. I want the ball every time, and I will put numbers like these for the rest of the season". He also said "nobody will mess with my team".
Coach Falknor, already used to challenges, said that his team played a memorable game, owning the paint. He also said that the team will play his way, and that no player will mess with his game plan.
It was a great V, but anyone who listened to the head coach's words and the words from his star player can see that things are not calm at the training facilities. This season will recquire a lot of work from Falknor.

tks man!
it's nice to see that there are people reading and enjoying my writing!
Like I said before, I wasn't playing with any sliders. Now I decided to play with hotshot and elprez realism 2.0 sliders and role play with my PG. It has become more interesting, and I already lost again. But you'll see that in my future posts!
