I thought this was supposed to be fixed?
I distinctly remember reading an interview and several articles where the developers stated that they had fixed this problem from 2K3.
Now here we are with several diehards buying Action Replay and downloading FF's player editor just to make this game playable.
Part of the problem is how pathetic the wrist shot is.
95% of the goals are scored using the onetimer and the CPU is completely retarded on Pro (they're not much better on Allstar).
I can't tell you how many times I've given up breakaways or 2-0's and I was never once worried. I knew that my created 50 rated goaltender would stone the likes of Jagr, Mario, Sakic over and over again.
And the goal celebrations are brutal. You don't usually see guys score and then stop dead and begin pumping thier fist in the air while his teammates f-off to the bench without congradulating them.
Franchise mode is SUPER weak and the Stanley Cup celebration (this also was promised to be improved on) is horrible.
