1. MOST IMPORTANTLY, PLEASE FIX the R2-PS3 bumper control for best position of the goalie to ONLY move the goalie when it's pressed and not have the goalie "auto-pilot" left and right (ie. PS3) when the puck is behind the net. This is extremely frustrating when manualizing the goalie and trying to make a good save without fighting the "post movement" left and right. :D

2. Patch the AI of the forwards to be aware of the puck position when entering the offensive zone, not to go offsides 15 times a game ahead of the puck....very irritating :o

3. When a player gets hurt, for the whistle not to be blown immediately every time, unless it's serious, but with random injuries, to let the player maybe limp off the ice, and move slower to the bench. If he's in direct puck danger of the play, then yes, the play should stop, but not EVERY TIME. Also, have in the score bar, annouce his status and if he'll return to the game or not and when.

4. CUSTOME CAMERA ANGLES

5. Saved default lines to return to when a player is hurt and returns, or is benched for wheatever reason. ie. If you have lines 1, 2, 3, and 4 set with specific players, they shouldn't be scrabled all around just because a guy returns or you switch a player back in the line up.

6. Make the late round draft picks actually useful, as to have a random player every now and then in the later rounds sometimes develope into a starting player in a short ammount of time who was rated low in the draft, and vise versa with a high rated players to sim a little luck either way.

7. Option to turn off "cut scenes"

8. BETTER MORE FRIENDLY MENUS ... Less border size and more players shown with much much more info to see at once. ie. when making trades in 2k7, you can only see 3 players at a time from each team.

9. A player name search to find a specific player in the entire NHL and/or minor league and what team he's playing for.

10. Specific "taunt of fight" command to try and challenge another player on the opposing team. This is very realistic, and is done quite often. The other player, as is now, can accept or deny the challenge either way. Better fight physics as well.

11. Much deeper customizing of created teams. Many more colors of uniforms, and even third or fourth jerseys as well....who hasn't wished for that in 2k7 with a created team?

12. Deeper play calling and strategies along with being able to "map out" a specific play to run just the way you'd like and with who you want too.

13. On a lighter side, maybe deepen the sound engine as to have "crowd heckling" for goalies, and things of that nature to really bring the "authentic feel" to the game ambience.

great list of ideas!!! I'd love to see them all myself

I very much agree with NO.'s 1. and 4.

I too play goalie with a friend quite often and hate the fact that he moves at all when R2 isn't pressed when the puck is behind the net.

As far as the camera angle goes, I would like to see like an overhead camera that just stays focused down the center of the ice and shows the entire width of the ice without panning side to side and shows the entire zone on both ends.

I love the camera angle idea. Some of the replay angles I've seen would make great game play angles I think.

The AI I know can always use some work, but like you mentioned, the "offsides" all game long is a horrible pain in !#$!%

Has anyone heard if the PS3 will have customizable music tracks in 2k8 or not? I loved it on my friends X-box version of 2k7, very cool.

I would imagine that the PS3 at least would now have game highlights at least in game between periods during the intermissions unlike 2k7 which just said it verbally, and showed a flat screen tv with NO highlights??? Saving your hightlights sounds awesome... I wounder why only the 360 would have it and not the PS3??? I hope maybe the PS3 has all but the "saved-online-rated" style replays, and you can save your own on the hard drive??? That would be the @$#&
