Yeah,I think it was Gamestop that said they werent too fond of the new controls.I think they will be fine once we get the hang of them.I also feel they had to make some serious changes this year with EA finally getting serious about their hockey game.I think the core of the game will be the same, but it will look and play better than ever.I just hope they leave the option between the Pro stick controls and the classic controls.

I think the game has matured nicely as it is.
i was a little tentative when i heard that there would be a skill stick in this on
However after purchasing it, and sub merging myself for a couple of hours i would have to say that i am quite happy with the new skill stick.
I like the idea that its a button combo, instead of flicking the analog stick.
The goalies seem to re-act better to the play, as does the ai (both offensively and defensively)
the soundtrack is awesome, i have ps2, so i am sure i am limited to ALL the new features.
THere is one electronic track during gameplay that i wish was on the play list.
For twenty bucks i would have to say it has exceeded my expectations. Can't wait for the new jersey pass code.
