Franchise Mode info?

Has anyone found any info on the new Franchise features? I read a few weeks back that they have gone pretty deep with the Franchise mode this year, to a point where the author of the article jokingly wrote that you might need a manual just for that mode. :eek:

Nope, not a clue I would really like to scout during the season, and an IIHF liscense so we could have World tournaments in Franchise would be sweet but I doubt that will happen. I would love to be able to save a Franchise as a roster or save a future team from my Franchise as a Historical team. I would also appreciate just saving a player to a roster.

The only info I have seen about Franchise Mode in 2K8 is this:

"Deeper Franchise - THE DEEPEST franchise mode in the business, now complete with realistic CBA features such as waivers, two-way contracts, restricted and unrestricted free agents, and salary cap management. Also including a revamped off-season that boasts a brand new negotiation system, an improved draft, refurbished free agent signing, and an All-NEW player progression system with dynamic player types!"

That is right from the NHL 2K8 page on the 2K Sports website. Other then that I have seen nothing about it anywhere.

Idon't know I just want more to the Franchise. But really there is only so much you can do with features to a franchise. I hope they make the gameplay so fun and the presentation to big things that happen during the season that I don't get bored.

Interested to see the new player progression system. love drafting players and building them up. the CBA features will be cool too. come ooooonnn september

just read up, via IGN, on some of the new Franchise features. definitely pleased and am even more anxious to get my hands on this game.

They mentioned that the Player Growth system allows you to earn experience points for developing players based on ice time, and that those points are applied to certain focus areas. HOPEFULLY, we get to decide where to add those points to, so you can truly mold those prospects.

The contract negotiations with the agent/player looks interesting too.

on a random note, i hope they brought back the one-timer pass!!!!!
