First of all blocking FG's is wayyyy to easy. I dont even attempt to block FG's myself but people are killing me with it. It's even easier than what 2k5 was!

Secondly I wish I felt more in control on DEFENSE. It is very hard to make plays on defense. The momentum thing is the right idea but I think they went overboard with it. I want to make plays but I find myself watching from the sidelines if you will. I just want to feel more into the game. Play calling is huge in this game and thats all I feel like I have to rely on.

I've been with 2k since the beginning and I also have a record of 32-14 so it's not that I suck.lol.

Anyone else agree or have any thoughts?

I made a "public" poll. Please vote away!

The only problem with the momentum for me is when you try and move one of your players on the line of scrimmage. They would jump offsides and you weren't even moving them that much in the first place.

"it needs tones down"?

WTF does that mean?

I like the momentum. Could be toned down slightly, but a nice job overall by VC with that one.

Actually, 2k has a great foundation to build of of..that's how I see it. There really isn't too many big problems for me. The main ones are easy to put into the next APF.

Looks like most people dont like the way it is so far. I reallllly wish they would change it. Playing defense is just boring the hell out of me. On the other hand I think they did a great job with the feel of the offense.

12 votes for a change and 5 for keeping it as is. Please keep voting. If there is enough votes I am going to try to get the attention of Take2.

I like the momentum too, but it could be toned down a tad especially on defense. I love it on offense. Before the snap you just barely touch the controller and the defender goes all over the place sometimes.

I don't have problems with the momentum or the FG blocks, but they need to pull back on the "late hit" calls! I've had guys airbourne when the play ends, gravity causes my guy to fall on the other player (as gravity is wont to do) and get slapped with a 15 yards, drive-resurrecting penalty.

As far as kick blocking, I've only seen one so far. Luckily I did it against the computer so I could save it. We pushed the kicker's own teammate back into the trajectory of the ball... and he blocked it with his a.ss! It was funny as hell. :-)

I voted "I like it but needs to be toned down."

But I must note, I want to play this game a lot more before I finallly decide thats the best way to go. Reason is, I feel much more in control defesively the more I play it... and I think auto-strafe add's to the difficulty, but as I get more used to that, I'm really enjoyed it more and more.

So, I think we gotta wait a few months and take another vote. It is possible the more people get used to it the more they will like it. BUT, if people can't get used to it after months of playing, then I agree 2K should listen to us and alter it for 2K9.

Yeah the late hit calls are overboard. I am noticing I'm having some problems playing D as well, but can't really make an opinion on it yet because honestly I think I'm still kind of getting used to it.

But back to the late hit calls, they are annoying and the refs throw the flag way to easily for this. I see the replay and the guy is already in mid airwhen the whistle blows and of course he's going to fall on the guy, but I get flagged for a late hit anyway. I almost blew a game last week because of this. I was having a rough day on the field, but managed to tie it up late in the 3rd, and eventually go up by a FG with about 10 second left in the game. I squib the Kickoff to not give the KR a chance to get the ball. One of the other guys get the ball and start to go upfield I easily stop him at midfield, but again one of my guys was in mid air when the whistle blew and landed on the guy. And yep, I get flagged for ANOTHER late hit, probably the 5th in the game. The clock shows 0:00, but because a game can't end on a penalty, the CPU gets the ball at my 35 yard line and attempts a long FG. Thankfully he missed it.

I usually don't mess with sliders, but I need to tone this late hit slider down.
