Custom play book problem

Has anyone ever succesfuly created a custome defensive playbook and used it in a game?
I have created a defensive play book and saved it, however when i play a practice game it gives me a defult, basic playbook. The offensive playbook worked great.

No problems wiith my custom book. Maybe it's just certain formations that are a problem?

I want to go from 4-3 defense to 3-4 while keeping the standard nickel & dime packages and the game will appear to save my play book, untill I go into a game where I get half of the 4-3 defense, not mine. Then if I go back to create play book, what I did previously is still there so there is no need to go threough it again. Incidentally, I have had no trouble with offensive play book.

Playbooks are team specific, so if you create one team and make a playbook for them, you will have to make a new playbook for another team. This may be the reason if you made the playbook for one team and took a different one into practice mode.

I only have one created team and I am sure that I am using them in practice mode because my offensive play book is there.

So no problems. I switched to a 3-4 D with Nickel and Dime, and it works fine in practice and games. Maybe you need to clear off all formations first, and then add them, which is what I did.

You can't not use your custom book. It's attached and saved to your team. It's the only book your team will use.

None of this explains why I can use my custom offensive play book but not a custom defense play book. I am going to try some of your suggestions. I would appreciate any new suggestions from anyone. Thanks.

;) Yeah, creating playbooks and unis is definitely one of the great things about this game, along with the game play. And the playbook editor is SO easy to use compared to 2K5.

So clear everything (even the ones i added), then save, then go back in the blank D playbook and add everything again?

I should have tried this first thing i was just being lazy and wanted some quick 3-4. Thanks guys.
