View Full Version : Is this normal for microsoft?

My 360 died the 22nd (2 weeks ago sunday), I called them that day and I didn't get the box till that Friday the 27th. I shipped it out that afternoon, they didn't get it till the 2nd and it still hasn't been fixed. On the flip side a couple of weeks ago a friend of mine 360 died on a monday, got the box that Thursday. Microsoft got it te following monday, and he had it back that Thursday. I know I'm not the most patient person, but this is very ****ing me off.

Some people are saying they've waited up to 6-8 weeks.

It's because they extended the coverage on it. A lot of guys were sitting on broken systems when they announced theextention and then they wereflooded with systems. It will get better though.

Microsoft is RETARDED. I lost my breakaway controller cord and called Microsoft to ask if I could get a new one.
1. I'm on hold for an hour.
2. Guy picks up, I tell him the problem
3. Guy puts me on hold for 15 more minutes.
4. Indian dude picks up.
5. Indian dude asks for my entire shipping address, including phone number, and date of purchase of my controller and Xbox 360.
6. Indian dude asks me questions obviously pertaining to trying to sell me stuff.
7. Indian dude tells me to go to Gamestop and tell them I lost my breakaway cord, and that if I have my receipt, they'll give me a new one according to a Microsoft policy.
8. "I don't have my receipt man."
9. Indian dude repeats himself.
10. I hang up.
10 steps, nothing accomplished. Here's what I did next.
1. Drive to Gamestop.
2. Tell the guy at the counter what Microsoft said, but that I don't have my receipt.
3. Guy at the counter hands me a new breakaway cord and says 'Microsoft can't tell us what to do."
3 steps, problem solved.

Next year.
For real though, I asked for a box, got it a week later, sent it, and I'm still waiting for them to repair it. The last time I played with my Xbox was on the 14th of July.

MICROSOFT is ****in slow, they told me wait 5-10 days for an answer because my Xbox Live account was stolen, its been 20 days.
