You guessed it .... new game.

Sucks that I had to buy another copy because I couldn't find my damn receipt. You owe me 2K

Anyhow, the game has been in the system since day one. I take it out and look at it and there are definite scratches around the middle of the disc. Apparently, my system decided to eat this disc or it came this way (I never thought to look).

The new disc is spotless, so if it ends up scratched, there is a problem with the system.

In the meantime, my game has been running just fine with none of the dropping sound issues or freezing that was being experienced before.

I know some people have been having major problems with freezing. Take a look at your disc.

Last week, some guy came here complaining about freeze issues. I told him it was the disk, but no... the guy had to insult me for 'questioning his intelligence'.

Good you got your game up and running again ;)

yeah guys i don't think it's tha disk. i've returned APF 3 times and at 1st tha game works for like a week or so and then tha freezing started again for me. after testing tha game out trying to figure out what was going on. i think it has 2 do with certain xbox dvd drives not reading tha game.

i noticed when i have APF in my 360 and load it to tha dashboard most of tha time instead of my dashboard reading tha disk and saying APF at tha bottom of tha dashboard it just says play disk this is when my game freezes and has other issues. on rare occasions when my 360 actually reads tha game it will say APF at tha bottom of tha dashboard and tha game will run smooth.

like i said i think it just depends on your xbox. i contacted xbox and there sending me a box so i can return it and get another one.

If you are having problems with scratched CDs, instead of purchasing completely new games, just take your game to GameCrazy or any similar store that have cleaning kits. They can make usually clean up something that looks like it was rubbed with sandpaper... so small scratches that might result in an error in the 360 are no problem.

My buddy also has one of those disc cleaner/fixer type things. I had planned on cleaning it up and just selling it for credit on something else.

I was too impatient to wait for it though .... lol. :)
