I would love this. I know some people have already established leagues with a pre-organized draft for the Legends, but I don't think I've seen a created players online league with a draft. The draft would occur in some type of chat room, Yahoo or something... current players' tiers would be decided by something like Madden's ratings for Madden 2008 (not that we want to use that as a resource, but at least it's current data. The system would be something like this: 100-94 overall rating is Gold. 93-87 is Silver. 87 and lower is Bronze. I think that's pretty fair, although some positions don't have many guys in the higher ratings so maybe it should be 100-90 is gold, 85-89 is Silver, below 85 is Bronze. However it's determined, the list of players would be available to all team owners before the draft.

Anyway, the draft order would be randomly determined by the commissioner. People would select their 2 gold picks first, then the 3 silver, then the 6 bronze.

I'm wondering if I could get at least 8 people (hopefully more) who would definitely want to do this. I think it would be a lot of fun drafting the team, creating the players, then taking your drafted team online in a league and pitting them against each other. There would be no default legends, only created players, so it should be balanced (as long as people make players accurately and don't cheat and make wide receivers 7' tall or something... which would be grounds for ejection from the league) It would be fun to see how the game would go between the guy who picked Brian Urlacher and Champ Bailey and the guy who picked Tom Brady and LaDanian Tomlinson.

Anyone interested? Do you have any ideas about how the whole thing would work?
