No playable rosters on line run from this game

look if you play online the majority of the time run away from this game. You will not be able to use downloaded rosters online at all. ****mmbe just got traded to the knicks will he be on the knicks roster as of release i dont think so. games release less than two weeks away. I hope nba live gameplay is slowed and more realstic this year because i am going back to the live franchise. Because in big bold letters on their site they are offering this feature.

Where's your proof of use not being able to use updated rosters online. If they allow you to do it on ESPN NFL I don't think they would be dumb enough to not allow it on NBA.

just read it in game informer dawg. Oh and you cant use the football rosters online either.

dude i will not lie to you. I dont want you to waste your cash dawg. This feature is very important they left it out this year. It very important to online players who play with low end teams like knick users dawg. Having deke will better my chances against people who use the lakers online. I would not lie to you. In game informer it states it and sega admits it even in this forum. camp around do some research and you will see. Live 2004 (EA) took some elements form segas game and added to theirs but they also added to all their sports game update player rosters that can be used online on the ps2 versions of their games sega did not. I have been asking for this feature since the dreamcast. I thought this year they put it in. You can download rosters but you cant use them online dawg sorry! I will email you some awesome visuals of live realy it looks like 2k4. Look I love the 2k series i would to prefer to play it because i was good on the xbox in the game but i cant sit through another year without correctplayers on the right teams dawg. Im going with eas ball game this year . i went with madden because it had this feature and espn did not. so if jordan goes to the lakers sorry you cant use him online dawg sorry.

They had a feature breakdown on Live vs. ESPN in Game Informer and they said updated rosters would not be playable online. There was also an interview with the games producer where he stated it wouldn't be in this year. Live in denial if you want, it's the truth though. You can't do it in NFL either.

I still ain't buying that **** EA is throwing at us. I'll deal with it

thanks mike because im not trying to bash the game but i cant take it anymore i know you feel me. Thats why im praying that i can get used to live just like i got use to madden. B-ball is my game! Like i said i am a 2k fan but dam 4 years dawg of promises for this feature not me dawg cant do it anymore. since 99 dreamcast days dawg been emailing letters to get this feature and the competition answers my prayers and with awesome online play and the leader and pioneer in online games cant deliver now thats ashame. No excuses. If you play online do yourself a favor rent the 2003 live so you can get use to the controls dawg.

I see where you're coming from Clint, they've been going online for 3-4 years and they still haven't given us this feature. My team is the grizzlies so it doesn't really affect me this year but last year I was ****ed when I couldn't play with Mike Miller on my squad. VC, I know it's nice to have all these cool extras like 24/7 and all, but get the basics right before you start other ****.

There is proof that NBA ESPN won't have online rosters... it's in some interview on operationsports...

But I think you're right... even without updates for online play, this game is still a lot better than Live...

You won't be able to use updated rosters online all due to the XBOX Live problems, so SEGA didn't put it in the PS2 version either. They were going to allow us to use updated rosters online but they had some security issues with XBOX live so they didn't do it for either system.

I'm just curious why you have to respond to everything I say. Do you have a crush on me or something because everything I post yougot something to say about it, even when it's not directed at you. Secondly I wasn't actign tough, I simply asked for a link to this so called interview, or some proof of what he's saying.

Also who cares if you can't use updated rosters for online play, this game is going to be HOT no matter what and I could care less if they don't allow you to use ****mbe Mutumbo on the Knicks. They suck and so does he so it's really no loss to me.

Exact same thing I've been saying.While everyone else is excited about arcade mode 24/7 I want the basic features that are already in the game perfected then worry about extras.
