y can't we use our own teams?

I don't understand why we cant just use our own teams in this. THe default teams are terrible, and are all focused on offense. Does anyone know why we cant use our own teams?

ps- my team has no created players.

we can use our own teams during the qualifications starting aug 24th its just during the real tournament we have to use defualt teams

players like u who dont have created players will be mad if u go up agsint sum1 who does or wants them

I'de like to know an answer to this as well. I am used to playing with the players Ihave and then I'll have to use a bunch of players I have never used? C"MON, that is insane! COuldnt they make it so no created players could be used.

They ALWAYS find a way to screw these tourneys up.

It's also knowing what players you have and usin your own strategy suited to said players.

You don't see NFL teams swaping players in and out every game, because they KNOW who is on their team and have their offense/defense built around players they know.

The whole point of APF was people building their teams and forming their own strategy to who they get and how they play.

I know with my team I have a very well balanced defense and offensive and wouldn't want to put all my eggs on one-basket.

Having to play as some default team will more then likely be a reason why I won't do so well. However if I could use my main team (Marino, Pihos, Maynard, Ottis anderson, etc) I'd be very much more confident and comfortable.

Then another big thing, with the default teams thelre are obviously some that are simply better then others (IE The legends, etc) so what about that?

We released the rosters early so you could start playing with them now. I would suggest you look them over and try to find one that fits your stlye.

The rosters were made to make it fair for everybody.

but this is not the NFL or any real football tourney where u actual play..this is a video game tourney where as if it was NFL team u prob wouldnt be able to play with the team u most use to playing with like back with 2K5 when they had its tourney everybody didnt get to play with their usual team depending on their ranl so they got stuck playing with who thay had to play with (me I played with the Saints so I was cool noone was playing with them then but Im pretty sure more will be playing with them now on that other game) and like the Admin said they released the roster so get on the game and create 3 of the teams and play with and hope u get to play with one of the three u decided to practice with.... and on ur comment as some teams might be better than others, isn't it always a team better than other. if this was NFL2K8 there would be teams better than others and guys that get the better team and u still might not be able to play as ur team....its a tourney lil homie they doing the fair thing to do...if u dont like u dont have to play other than that work on ur game and get ready point blank because if u good at the sport of football and have football knowledge u will do ok, he!! I went to the playoffs with the Cardinals back during my NFL2K5 league days because every team was taken and I was the last to sign up and I never even played with Arizona before then on NFL2K5

It will make it alot harder and show who has the true skill,Imo..I just wanted to know if you can change the playbooks because if you couldn't,then that would be asking a little much. All the teams are equally bad so find one that fits you the best and play atleast a few online games with them,so you know what to expect.

I don't mind it at all. I've tried 3 teams, one was OK. I won with 1 one them out of 3, but I didn't have the playbook edited (WHY CAN'T YOU JUST ASSING 1 PLAYBOOK TO ALL YOUR TEAMS!!!!!!) anyways, there are 30 teams to try out, but I don't like how they're focused on offense. I'm starting to think just get the best offensive team so you can keep up score.
