Why is NHL 2k8 not being released on XBox?

Just wondering if anyone knows why NHL 2K8 isn't being released on XBox? When I saw that it was still being released on PS2, I was quite hopeful that the original XBox would get a new edition as well, but it appears that is not the case...

Anyone know if 2k sports plans to at least make a roster update for the XBox version of NHL 2k7 available since NHL 2k8 isn't being released on that platform?

You are right,there will be little to no new games for the XBOX and the systems have become almost impossible to find.

Because Xbox sales of NHL 2K7 were poor. Which is the same reason why NHL '08 isn't being developed for Xbox. The Xbox is the best last-gen console, but sales aren't telling. I feel your discontent. Now I have to either buy a PS2, or upgrade my PC's video card to play last-gen NHL '08. There won't be an NHL 2K7 roster update for Xbox.
