I just seen a Madden Commercial, and you have to give it to EA, they know how to make a commercial. After seeing the commercial i told myself i was going to buy Madden. Then i unpaused APF, started playing and said, Nah i can't buy Madden.

Madden is a good game, but i just love playing APF too much.

the madden ad is no better than last years..... they need not even advertise in order to get buyers.... however, the 2K ad are much more compelling... if only they could commit 5mil bucks to marketing APF.....:(

Madden is a good/fun game. But that commercial hype almost got me. I'm not saying it's a bad thing to get Madden, but i know it will sit on my shelf while i play APF, so i don't want buy it just to have it.

EA has the money to do whatever in the hell they want. The commercials are done well until i see the actual game play. It does 0 for me.

I saw the commercial you are talking about, and it was cool, but this part of the ripten.com Madden 08 review says it all...

"That said, there is no doubt that this iteration of the game is an improvement over the past two next-gen releases, however once you get past the hype of the highlight-laden, rap music-filled, and well marketed commercials, it will be obvious that the game still lacks many features that Madden gamers have grown to love over the years."

Yeah, i seen it a couple of times. It doesn't show as much as Madden but i've seen it.

I've seen it enough. yea they dont show the gameplay to much, more of a hype machine. right during preseason games to hype more people up (which i guess its suppose to do).

features.. who cares.. its all about gameplay.. and i was shocked how much they actually worked on it.. they was like.. oo we focusing on gameplay this year.. im like ya ya what ever.. but the day got closer.. i got to play.. i actually find my self enjoying the 360 version of madden 08.. where i thought i would only be getting the Current Gen version
