How bout you raise the difficulty then complain. Im 6 games into my chise with the Pats, quite possibly the best defense in the league. I give up bout 10 points a game, but only turn the computer over bout 4 times, max. i rarely see fumbles, and their offense actually does something besides fumble or throw interceptions. I guess thats what happens when you play on all-madden and not pro.

Like I said in another thread.

Madden fans want their game to be the best that it can be, constantly being critical, telling EA what they are doing wrong so it can be fixed.

2k fans think their game is the best and can do no wrong and that Madden is a bag of ****. Say something wrong bout 2k, even if its true, and you just committed treason.

Look at 2k baseball, you say something bad about it in the forum its either you suck or the game is making improvements year to year, even if its still not great. Well then, take some of that logic. Madden 06 on next gen = not good. Madden 07 = Mediocre. Madden 08 = Decent. Its making little improvements every year, so why not look forward to the future. On the backside, Take 2 continues to make winners like the Bigs and MLB 2k games. haha. People gonna say, what about Oblivion or Bio-Shock, those are good games, and EA puts out bad games like the recent need for speeds, etc. EA doesnt really care bout those type of games, everyone knows that the bread and butter is Madden, and they are not trying to make their name in any other gaming genre.

As soon as you use the analog to try to control a player you know it sucks. It's not like you need to learn how to play it. You feel it as soon as you start playing. The game play SUCKS. The Physics SUCKS. Who enjoys playing a game where the players feel like the weigh a ton? I was actually hoping madden 08 would be the best game out because I enjoy playing with the 49ers. They let me down AGAIN

Sorry superfly,I'm a hardcore gamer which means I always play on the hardest difficulty to get the most out of my games,I'm playing on all-madden,unless they have another level all-crappy

If you try to run through a wrong hole into a waiting linebacker, you gonna get nailed. Dont even bother trying to truck him, you're done. There is no way to avoid that. I have yet to break some ridiculous run or throw some miracle pass in this game to date. I dont think I have broken a run for 30 yards yet.

Its more than just "Controlling them" its how it feels when you do, Thats the problem, only using spin buttons and juke buttons to juke people is lame. How about using the analog to make people miss. You cannot do it in madden because they move too slow like they are in mud. If you do make them miss it's because the defense moves the same way. Since when did NFL players move like robots? That was always my problem with madden they move around like they play in quicksand.

Its possible to see something ridiculous. I'll give you case and point.

Last year in my franchise, I had my Pats intercept Brett Favre 8 times in one game.

But then I witnessed another game between 2 of my friends where the final score was 87-73 in 5 min quarters. Dont base 1 game on your decision to have a game.

All 2k fans are just looking for reasons to hate and belittle Madden. Fine, gameplay isnt as great. We know. But overall, Madden offers more, and therefore is a better game, unless playing pointless seasons which end abruptly only to start again appeals to you.

Too many 2K fans point straight to turnovers or long throws by a QB off the backfoot. Shouldn't say stuff like that because 2K has always had flaws in their game too.

Keep it to what you really mean, which is they physics and the way tackling happens at a completely unrealistic speed. The same speed they used in 1995. Thats my issue... the turnovers are cool cuz they punish you when u mess up more than 2K does.

But its not about that... just say the game isn't fun and point out why. Turnovers and long QB throws aren't reason to dislike any game.

I can understand changing the level but why should you have to change the sliders,I don't want to have to change the sliders to make things easier fo me.

You can change the slides to make it harder for you. Raise the game ai for the computer if you are having that big of problem. That would consist raising qb accuracy, back ability, and all that stuff.

2. Running doesnt feel right (BTW, far from the truth)

sliders don't work - try changing your game up so that it doesn't happen
why change my game up thats how i play - well 2k sucks too so it balances out.

when someone asks you if they should buy madden do you tell them yes but only after you change some sliders, put it on the highest difficulty, and play a certain way so that the game is more realistic?

Go into the MLB forum here and ask if its possible to play the game without sliders adjustment. 99/100 will say no. Do the same in the Madden forum. 85/100 will say yes.

Yes but all those things you said clutch. can be fixed and they were to a certain degree cause 2k would listen. I cant say the same for the glitches in madden 08 where it had to go to the full extint where the BBB had to be involved just to hear something out of them to get a patch some 8 weeks later. Say what you will, that game is broken in ever way known how.

I've only played one game of Madden. I was playing my friend who had the Colts, I was the Chargers. 6 fumbles that game :O. I broke an 80 yard run with LT, who evaded 4 tacklers at the same time. I was in the motion of breaking a tackle when 3 Colts defenders dove at me and they bounced off and fell to the ground. I laughed.

What some of you apparently don't realize is that the majority of gamers want Madden to be a great game. I want to take control of the Colts, I want to play in the NFL... it just isn't a good game.
