Online Help!!

Finally got my copy last week, took three weeks in the post as I live in NZ.

For a whole week I played season getting my skills up, being a 2k5 vet, didnt take long but wanted to feel at peak going into my first online game, what excitement!!

Finally jumped on ready to demolish anyone who happened to be in the all pro lobby LOL.

HOWEVER when I accepted a challenge, the game was loading and then said that an error occurred. I then proceeded to challenge someone else and the same **** happened.

How frustrating is this?? the network wont allow me to receive data on players let alone play them. My ping is all lit up and green, I don't get it.

Please help... anyone

If I can't play online and limited to only the crappy season then I might as well chuck it in the rubbish and go back to 2k5, at least that had (well you know); or give dare I say it M****** 08:confused: a try, least that would allow me to play online.

Has anyone had this problem before?

i know but i would try to help you if i had a xbox my xbox doesn't get back for awhile so iam just sitting here waiting till that day comes again wen i can play apf. they might be updating or the servers just might be down sometimes they are.

My advice would be to keep trying, and maybe give a little more detail, like what the specific error message was. I know that in a lobby, there's always going to be some people that you cannot connect to. You just have to keep trying.

Is the error message where framerate isn't compatible?

Yea that's one of them.

I'm playing on the ps3 network.

The other gives no reason at all; it states something like -

This game cannot start refer online FAQ or website for issue, and doesnt even give an issue...

Please let there be a quick fix for this.

I'm not on PS3 so my help is limited...but the error message saying to check out the FAQ is just a generic one everyone gets from time to time, so my advice is to keep trying.

I thought I read somewhere that Ps3 users were having problems with the 2k servers. It is a port forwarding issue. I am not sure which ports but opening them will fix your issues. DO a search on this forum and you will find the answer

thanks for all the help. got my first game under my belt now (after a day of trying);

Lost 24-21 but a good game none the less, play safety and some how had autostrafe on, man that handicaps you, get beat deep too easy the player wont turn.

oh yea one more question, how do you connect a headset online?
