I remember the old ESPN College Hoops dunk contest. I think it would be interesting to have it in the next game.

Why would they take them out? The legends on that team are just as legitimate as any of the other teams.

Take out 24/7 mode and put in an all star weekend. People saying a dunk contest isn't realistic, and 24/7 mode is? At least dunk contests are actually in the NBA. Also, they would provide a distraction from repetitive gameplay, something 24/7 does not alleviate, but actually makes more repetitive.

actually real street ball is real basketball (how do you think a lot of the nba players got their starts?), but And1 streetball isn't real streetball, it's more like harlem globetrotters on the street.

but why take out anything? there's enough room on the disk for new features to co-exist peacefully.

Hopefully All-Star Weekend will be in 2k8. NBA 07 has a Skills Challenge and it's pretty fun, 2k could do their skills challenge Similar to NBA 07's. A Slam Dunk Contest shouldn't be that hard to Code, Just make sure the Controls and the Dunks from a normal game are completely different from the ones in the Slam Dunk Contest. And Finally a Three Point Shootout, 24/7 Mode has a type of three point shootout so that shouldn't be hard to make either. The Rookie vs Sophomore challenge should be added as well. Also the All-Star Game should be more interesting, more Hype, more People in the Crowd, etc. It should be Completely different from a Normal Game.

All star weekend would be great in NBA 2k8. I think the Tv presentation should be different during the allstar game than in a regular game.

Yea they should take out 24/7, after your done the story it's no use anymore. With ASW
you won't get bored of it, and I sayin' that 24/7 wasn't borin, but it was no fun anymore after you finish it. And 2K/VC would have alot of room to work with if they got rid of 24
so I say add ASW.

im reluctant to vote yes..only cause i know everyone wants a dunk contest added to it...and although i did enjoy (to some extent the dunk contest in NBA LIVE)...i just dont think it would be good on 2k's game....i would love 3 PT, Sophomores vs. Rooks, maybe in even PG skills competition, or even the shooting with the legends....but i couldn't imagine a dunk contest that would be realistic and as simple as LIVE without making it cheesy (i dont want arcade style front flips/back flips, twice between the leg dunks, etc that LIVE has)
