I was always disapointed that i had to play an entire season to get some of my b or c line players attributes up. If you read the article you'll find out that that's not the case anymore. You can even, with enough ice time and on ice results, change your nothing forward into a playmaker or a flat out scorer.

I love all the improvements, i think 2K is headed in the right direction with this years game.

Agreed, but EA's AI is sounding like its got the beat on 2K,we'll see though.Im liking both games an awful lot right now.

Same for me ! I'm leaning towards 08 because of the currently unlimited # of created teams but 2K is making points for having old logos like Winnipeg and probably Quebec. But they messed it up by limiting us to 5 teams...

I wanna create a ''New NHL'' without Gary Buttman's influence and since I can't create more than 5 teams I don't know anymore if I'll buy 2K, I could create 5 teams but I was planning on creating more than 5 teams, like Winnipeg, Quebec, Hartford, Cleveland, Seattle and renaming some existing franchise with new looks since RBK screwed everything up this year.

The rest of the game honestly looks quite the same with the exception of the AHL and Euro leagues in 08.

Anyway this will be a year to remember for hockey games !

I dont care about create a team. I just want a realistic game where it will be hard to score. Last year, both nhl 2k7 and nhl 07 were very easy.

Hey can you copy the text into this forum? Unfortunately my work blocks that site and I don't have the internet at home. I'm really looking forward to the franchise improvements and would like to read about them with more detail.

thanks

Game is looking really good, but I am a little concerned after watching the game video shown everywhere of the Hawks vs. Columbus. The first goal scored by Martin Havlat was a long shot near the blue line and it went it on the goalies glove side. I know the overhauled the goalies but this could be a sign...hoping not...still going to get 2K8
