NHL 2K8 Online Play

I was wondering if 2K has said anything about its online play? I am curious if they will allow 5 vs 5 or 3 vs 3 where all players are on different consoles?

dude, I've been asking this question for the past 5-10 years, since online plays inception...
and once again, 2k8 doesn't get it. This is where NHL 08 pole-vaults past 2k8 in terms of online play, cause the same xbox 1 on 1 is getting really old. Abilities that i may not be strong in, you might help we out with in a game vs. other two people...and that's where friends are made, as teammates. Sadly, 2k8 now falls behind and i'll unfortunately switch
to another damn EA game...crap!!

Again,have fun with that.Honestly I hate relying on other people,so even co-op gets on my nerves.Though its mostly from not being able to switch to the guy I want effectively.Playing 5 on 5 would be stressful to me because I couldnt switch and automatic reflex would make me want to.Not only that but there is usually one person that is gonna wanna hog the puck and score the most goals.I wish it be the kind of team sport that is in real life,but not likely with most of the characters that play online.Besides imagine playing against FIVE CHEESERS UUUGGH!!

Nowadays, it's "leaderboard w*****" and "me! me! me!". Lemieux and Gretzky would be ashamed to play on the same ice due to all the egos. A blind society it is.

Woaah buddy. Dont bring up morals and what we were brought up as. Do you know what kind of life every kid had who owns a 360. Just because you were taught values as a youth, you honestly think that kids today exercise those same values... further more... ONLINE?
