is because they want to play the way they play halo.. or gears of war. straight up arcade with no strategy involved.
football is a thinking mans game.. right now im ****ing around with that franchise on madden.. im keeping that **** realistic as possible.. if its 4 and inches... im punting like they would in the nfl.. i dont do the same play over and over again.. that's problem with people who say the game is too easy.. finding exploits against the computer or somebody online is not fun.. its not even realistic.. these are video games. sometimes there's certain things u can do over and over that can be pretty annoying or even hard to stop
so im just curious am i the only one who does while playing the computer? all pro or madden..

oh ****, im 5-7 right now.. doesnt even look like ill be making the playoffs.
here's how it should go for all football game players:
its not how many games you win, it's how much fun you had.

Well Chop stick.
I see your still whining and complaining about things.
When will you realise no one gives a damn about your crappy topics anymore?

i dont think madden is fun at all. the movements are so unrealistic. you just juke or spin and noone can touch you

I agreee with the OP!!!!
I have come to the conclusion myself that ppl dont have the patience to go online and play str8 up....they either wanna do whatever possible too score no matter what....never punt...etc etc!!!
Also there are the ones who do not even KNOW HOW to play football!!! and come onlin and run around using minimal plays then quit and say I cheesed them LOL!!!!
PS BIO SHOCK IS A AWSOME GAME ONCE U GET A FEW MORE PLASMIDS!!!!! Its 3AM and I JUST FINISHED PLAYING!!!!!!!

apologies chop stick for your thread getting off topic. i don't currently have a franchise mode to play through, since apf couldn't figure out how to add one - but on 2k5, i was always as realistic as possible. i like to have an 'rpg' type of experience with my sports games.
to the guy who asked, blue dragon was not very impressive imo. really derivative from all the other turn-based rgp's i've played. eh, just nothing special. that kind of cutesy japanese character design has never done it for me either.
oblivion however is rocking my world. over 45 hours in and i feel like i'm just scratching the surface. haven't even touched the main quest in over 25 hours!
and i'm waiting (not patiently) for gamestop to get more copies of bioshock in. clearly one of the best games of this or any other year.

what exactly can you do with bioshock? is it just another shooter? cool story? side missions?

honestly, i don't know for sure.
i've only played the demo and not too much. i didn't want to ruin the full experience at all by seeing a whole lot.
i just know it's a great shooter with terrific atmosphere, some cool game mechanics, and an interesting and lengthy single-player story.
this game is right up my alley.
