Okay, i'm taking a long shot here but considering everyone hear loves football and 2k sports, i thought one of you guys might have some knowledge with programming a football scene. I am having trouble with creating a nautral looking tackle, kinda like the one used for the backbrakers video i posted earlier. Any suggestions? This is the tuturial video for multiple characters I have been using:

...like i said this is a long shot but i thought i would ask anyway

Hey Lakerkid, do you know how to make your guys move yet? I have the learning edition. All you have to do is get them to actually collide by simulating them before impact. First get them to run at each other with an animation. Then a few frames before they should meet you have to make it a full simulation.
Next add your detail and life. Add behavior events like protect head, body foetal, etc. You can also add active poses to make it look even more realistic.

I made a defender strip a ball from a QB and have him fumble. Since you have the program you should have access to the forums right? I'll put my creation on. Just go to the message boards and search for the thread:
First Scene-Football Fumble by SPAM512. I made that a few months ago so it doesn't seem too good, but it really was my first. Now I'm trying to do a halo type thing with the master chief.

Hope you learn how to use it. Just watch all the tutorial vids and get help on the message boards.

My name on NM is SPAM512 whats your name on it so I can see your progress.

There is also some premade scenes that should be named tackle in your sample scenes. I suggest breaking all the things down in the timeline so you understand exactly how the program works. Then you can add your own parts to it. Eventually you will be able to make scenes from scratch rather than use a sample scene.

You will also notice that those sample scenes are the exact same tackles in the backbreaker demo.
Tell me what you think of my scene though.

Thanks man thats pretty cool. My name on those forums is lakerkid, same as here. I'll run the search for your thread now. Appreciate the response.

Yeah, I got impatient and didnt watch all the tutorials. But I think its best if I go back and finish them up first, then i'll try out this football stuff. Once again truly appreciate the response!

No problem and I suggest watching the vids about active posing and importing animations. Those two parts are very important to learn. I know that the vids are long so just make sure to watch those at least. It took me a month of rewatching those vids and playing around just to learn enough to make a scene like that. I usually make scenes during Warrior games. LOL.

lol thats funny. But yeah i'll def. take all of your advice and put it into action over the course of this week. I'm just happy that someone on here knew some stuff about animating, rather than just playing the games themselves.

So when did you start using the program? Did you get it because of Backbreaker?

Ask around and read up on the NM message boards since they know way more than me. I'm just like you, I wanted to see if I can make an animation, but the people on the boards truly understand how to program. I can only do so much like pose and transfer animations. I take it your the same way? Other people with the cooler and smoother scenes probably have motion capture equipment so they will have better scenes.

And feel free to save my scene and toy with it.
