I'm trying to get together a nice at least 8 team Sim style and active Canadian Football league for the 360
i saw the CFL League for the PS3 thread which gave me hope that i could pull this off:cool:
hopefully some people are interested

if i was you gator i would keep it as the current 8 team CFL. after a season in, then expand if the intrest is there.
i use the bombers in my ps3 league and charles roberts is my hb, hes 5'6 and my gold along with stegall.

How the f&*k are you gonna do a CFL league - first of all there is only 3 downs...second - you get 1 point for what is a touchback in the NFL. Third - the end zones are 20 yards deep in the cfl. 4th the field is ten yards longer. 5th the field is 5 yards wider. 6th the play clock is 25 seconds and stops after the whistle blows and starts up when the referee blows time back inyou can still snap the ball with 0 seconds left. 7th there is unlimited motion in the backfield os all the recievers go. 8th there are 12 players on the field in the cfl. 9th the goal posts are at the front of the endzone....

im probably going to take lions advice and go with the 8 team league but i wanna push for 16 games if anyone has any objection to a 16 game season let me know. if even 1 person feels uncomfortable with a 16 game season then we will do an 8 game season

we do a 16 game season on the Ps3.

donnymac...its a CFL league using american rules. its as close as we are gonna get and thats cool.
gator, when you get the site set up i would love to see it. for some reason, we cant get a league site up and running on the PS3 yet. so we are bare bones over the server, but im not complaining. as long as the games get played, all is good.

El Roberson from Kansas State,Andre Rison, Aaron Brooks(hes like the 4th qb on the Raiders so his job isn't secure) and the rosters will be comprised of guys like that

Except for the Baltimore Stallions, the U.S. teams were terrible.

Perhaps we can add 2 expansion teams that were supposed to enter the CFL years ago...

Halifax, Nova Scotia was supposed to launch the "Atlantic Schooners" at one point, but the deal fell apart because of lack of money.

Quebec City is rumoured to want a team too, but also has money problems.

Just a suggestion, but let's stick with the Canadian theme if possible.
