View Full Version : I think we deserve an explanation on the leader board being reset

I played 16 games over the last 3 days because I wont have time to play most of the week, so I got myself solidly into qualification. Now, you reset the leaderboards, for no reason, with no warning, and many of us are going to out of luck. This is terrible buisness on your part, you botched the beginning and now you screwed us by resetting the leaderboards with no warning. Is this maintence or what? Some word would be helpful..

1. It might not even be a reset, probably just maintenance.
2. 2k Sports has never promised you any type of reliability when it comes to the tournament.
3. You losing position = "many... out of luck?" Right.
4. The only terrible business is giving away a first place prize estimated around $4000.

^ you sound like a buisness owner. Sorry, I expect things to run smoothly and properly, and as a consumer, I expect explanations of what is being done and why. So Ill wait for one in here. It may only be maintence, which is what i think in my gut, but who knows...

We had to do some maintenance this morning on the link but we did not reset them.

Right, you expect explanations, which anyone should.
But you shouldn't jump the gun and start crying foul when something unexpected and unannounced (hint, hint) happens.
EDIT: Yeah, they're back now. They were showing nothing but a blank earlier.

Its fine now. It was temporarily showing everyone with 0 games played in alphabetical order similar to how it looked before the tournament started.
By the way I was critical of the tourny at first, but after seeing how regularly the leaderboards update I'd say you guys are doing a great job.
Add 5 defensive teams though IMO, dont remove any, just add on a couple defense teams. It cant hurt and lots of people will appreciate it.

just please tell me that the data wasnt lost. As I said, I dont have time to play through 18 games again, im only going to have time to play now and again to keep myself in contention. Thats all im concerned with. it would be a major disappointment if this occurs. Thanks.
