First of all, I'm down for competition and playing a realistic game of football. Let me ask you question though, if I were to run a no huddle offense with Earl Cambell, Jerry Rice, And a Coats hot routeing at the line and playing this ALL game long, what is this.

This is far to common with many players online, I told this one dude "dog how you going to start running no huddles already in the first quarter play after play" .

He was like stop crying, I'm like man that ish is unsportsmanlike and requires no skill. Only trailing and the ending of a half should this be allowed. Now if you catch the defense slipping I say it's sim to no huddle once or twice per drive, BUT remember sportsmanship.

Needless to say I played some other cat right after him and he started doing the same thing, I beat him easily but don't really choose to play people like this.
Also it seems like many people in the top 100 block xp/fg, etc. and have all kind of little glitches.

One dude had a linebacker on the line and 8 out of 10 times he come flying in untouched, it's just abusing an exploit in the games programming. Dude had Rice Cambell and Coats, but I easily beat him.

I love this game and probably all of us at times try to do what we need to win, but this cheese and unsportmanslike conduct should be kept away from our online community.

Peace to all the "real" sim ballers out there, and my old 2k3 heads

:thumbsdow

So why are you here if it means nothing? You cats are funny. Me personally I've been all around the world seen so many things and after a 3 year hiatus I heard about the game and jumped on it.

WHy do I care, because when people play "sim" and maintain a level of respect this bring so muck to the 2k community. Ever since Dreamcast I've been here and aparently since your sig so have you.

Don't knock me or my statements with out justifications, this is the ONLY game I play religiously, does it really matter probably not though. Cause I've seen more things in my lifetime than most people on here, as a matter of fact I'm in Japan right now in a hotel room just chilling playing the game.

So yeah enough about my personel life, I care becuase the ol skool 2k3 heads had a code of respect and if you're not from that era you would'nt know.

Peace to my homeboy "glenn10"

I hear ya, understand ya, etc...
But! This no huddle issue has gotten out of control.
Again, 2ksports could have made it easier, but including formation specific defensive audibles like they do the offense, but for whatever reason they chose not too.
It offers better disguise on the defense side. Right now we do not have that unless you play pretty much one and only one defensive set.

We all have seen the no huddle style and it isn't going to go away. It is here to stay and WE need to make an adjustment for it by having a package we can turn to that is effective against it.

I think we also have to hold 2ksports responsible for broken pieces otherwise they may end up like EA offering us tokens to keep us happy rather than delivering on true upgraded products.

There is no excuse for the FG glitch that I know about.
In the computer world you have reference manual coders, meaning they can define anything and no most of the functions. The problem is they do not know how to properly conduct test, account for irregularities with situations, etc...

I would go through the playbook and decide what you will put in place if you encounter a player like this again.

Yes it is boring as I don't know what to play that way sometimes, but it is a free world and we can't dicate to everyone how they have to play the game.

The only problem I have is when someone is unable to stop you offense scheme and all of sudden they call it cheese or give you neg feedback at the end of the game. You don't see coaches in the NFL yelling cheese when they can't stop a play or player. The glitchin and freezing stuff needs to go, but when someone has a decent gameplan you should be able to counter that with audibles, subs, and etc.

Get out of here I've played EVERY single game straight up "0" quits, and "3" disconnects due to online connection in over 120+ games.

With a record of 61-61-3-0, so don't EVER try to thrown dirt on my name.

Also on that note I just played some guy "cardinals4rea1" ah man was this dude the WORST.

His offense was Cambell, Reed, and Cunningham, that's it. I stop Cambell to a minum of 2-4 yards every play, but he would just inch his way to the goalline, like this. GOing for it on fourth, so basically he had 4 downs to get 10 yards with Cambell.

I stopped sometimes, then he would do a roll out and get a couple yards with Cunningham.

Well I had this dude beat, and he threw to a genereic player to win the game, whatever I play for fun but have NEVER dude bullish or cheese to not lose a game.

Once again "cardinals4rea1" do not play this dude, he was running the clock on every play since the first quarter, with Earl Cambell. Get two yards run the clock 35 seconds, repeat repeat, ALL game long.

I don't want to have to retire this game, but I know straight up straight up only a handful of people have beat me

What's wrong with having 3 players on offense? Are you saying someone who focuses on defense is a cheeser? Wow.

So in the Real NFL you dont see LB's going through the line untouched at all? Get real man! Its called blitzing and sending more than your team can block. Find the weakness and exploit it. I use a 5-2 during my games along with all other Defensive formations in the playbook and when I call my 2 LB's to blitz up the middle sometimes both get through, sometimes, 1 gets through, and sometimes they both get blocked. Do your O-Line adjustments or are you too stupid or inpatient to do this? throw quick slant or a flat to your RB or even a Toss play to your RB... Star finding answers to what people do instead of calling it all cheese. Challenge tour self and your brain to learn how to stop the biggest cheese or just normal stuff. I wonder if you watch NFL games? If you do next time watch players like Ray Lewis, Julian Peterson, Lofa tatupu, and even Merriman of the Chargers who lead the NFL in sacks last year come on many blitzes untouched. All you cry babies need to watch real nfl games and stop crying so damn much. Earl campbell is a glitch because he is hard to tackle LOL...Look at game film of this guy and he abused defenders. You guys act as if you play a zone you cant be passed on LOL. Learn the game people damn! For every thing you do in this game no matter what it is there is always a counter punch! You just need to find out what it is.

Next time you see Tom Brady or Peyton Manning run a no huddle try screaming at the TV loud enough and tell them there cheesing your team LOL.

Too many complainers on this game because someone knows how to beat your defense or shut you out of your game plan LOL.

YOU ALL NEED TO GET REAL, STOP CRYING, AND GROW UP!

I agree! I find the complaining about cheese to be more oozing than the cheese itself. It's probably because the game is fairly difficult to master, but when you get good, you'll just destroy most people, who then think cheese is oozing. Meanwhile, they're losing because they're simply not good enough.

How is controling the lb and going for the sack or run cheese? I thought pass rush pressure was part of the game? I forget some people just like have the 5 to 10 secs to pass to thier receiver. Get a life.

You bought a video game about football. As much as you would like to think it's like real football. There are too many factors that make it not so. All this playing sim crap has to go. I've been playing 2k sport games since DC also and was looking forward to this game for a while. But all the retards with their "Play sim or die" attitude makes me hate most 2k fans. I play this game the way it is fun to me. I don't like exploits, nor do I support them. But stupid complaits like, cpu controling, controling the LB, controling the DL, no - huddle offense...etc etc.....are not Cheese puffs. >.<

You are playing a video game against ppl around the world. Don't expect them to play the same as you. And that's what's called online gaming. You think ppl worry about cheese in tournaments? What other game comes in mind that has absolutely no "cheese" in it? You think just because it's got the 2K title the everthing down to the playing stlyes of ppl to be sim. I enjoy playing against good players that play good and don't cause any disturbance like talking trash. And I really don't mind going agaist a team with only 3 legend offense since that's mostly all you need at times. I just like going against people other than the cpu.

I'm sorry that those people you played ****ed you off but they weren't doing any glitch exploit that you mentioned. Oh and about the LB charging in 8 out of 10 times. How many times were you sacked? Did you have to hurry up ur pass or change your regular game plan? If so, then that's what it's supposed to do. Calling that cheese is like calling a person who uses out slants pass all the time chesse. It's called pass rush pressure.

I'm sick of people crying cheese because they don't like someone else's playing style. They may not like yours. STFU and play the game. Beat them if you can. Be a gentleman about it, win or lose. We are all trying to play the game and have fun.

Stop crying cheese if they use certain players. By now, you should have teams built to stop just about anything. Pick your team wisely, out tackle him, out scheme him, but BE A GOOD SPORT ABOUT IT!!! Quit giving players negative feedback because they don't play the game like you do.

My advice, drop the arbitrary "SIM rules". Do you see Dr. Hoodie in New England crying cheese when Manning is changing the play 27 times before each snap? Nope, he has schemed for that. Play the game and have fun. That's what games are, fun. If you guys can't get over your "Sim" trip, maybe you need to take a step back and figure out why you are playing games in the first place.

People need to drop this "Sim" chip on your shoulder. People take it waay too seriously. If you are reading this and find yourself angry at me for posting this, or disagree with me, then this is might be for you. In the immortal words of Jack Sparrow-"You need to get yourself a girl, mate!!!"

They dont come through everytime idiot! Do O-Line adjustment or call plays that get the ball out quick. I use 5-2 LB blitze when it is like 3rd and 10 or beyond because there is no way im going to give your QB enough time to let your WR's run long enough routes for your WR to catch the ball on big pass plays. Sorry but your an idiot. I have been blocked many times and also have been beaten by flat passes and over the top passes when they block me so you can stop it you just choose not to try and see what works against it and instead you call it cheese LOL.

Maybe you can petition the NFL for LB's that come un blocked to the QB in THE REAL NFL because the defense sent to many to block and ask them to make Merriman and other outstanding pass rushing LB's count to 5 before sacking the QB. Thats sounds just as stupid as the comment you made like it doesnt happen in real life LOL.

OMG!! I havent had someone do this to me before and I dont know how to stop it. I know how to get him back.

1. Leave negative Feedback and exploiter!!!

2. Post a thread explaining how bad the person is a cheeser!!

3. And pray to GOD that nobody ever gives something I havent seen before!!

If you do these 3 things all will be good in your Fantasy Land!

Try learning from other people better than you and practice and get better instead of calling everythign Cheese! Your excuse for not being any good is that you play all cheesers LOL!
