View Full Version : What is the craziest injury you have ever seen in a 2K football game?

I remember one time in NFL 2K5, my RB got nailed hard in the head on a tackle. He dropped to the ground and he was actually shaking uncontrollably. I had never seen anything like it, he was MESSED UP! The players were kind of just walking around him causally, maybe they were in shock. I don't remember what exactly the injury was but I think he broke his neck or something. He was done for a LONG time.

in 2K5 a player got injured in pre game warmups.... he was out before the kickoff.

yep... it happened a few times in league play. dudes would be doing their depth chart and see a guy is out for pulling a hammy or whatever.

My full back broke his Knee Cap last night. Then two plays latter my DE tore his hamstring

I was playing one of the people on my friends list. The score was 20-13 i was up. He had the ball. Pass after pass after pass i couldn't stop him. He had 1 time out and 10 seconds on the clock on my 15. Pass the ball, caught and takled on the two yard line with 3 seconds left. He called Timeout, his last one. Lined up for the last play. He threw the pass to a outrageously wide open Receiver over the middle and the pass was incomplete. I won the game. We replayed the play. There was no way that his star Receiver did not or could not catch that ball. Watching the replay in slow motion, his star receiver did a quick slant route. He destroyed the Bump Coverage. However while the ball was in the air he slowed down and reached back and grabbed his leg and hobbled throughout the endzone. HIS RECEIVER PULLED HIS HAMSTRING ON THE LAST AND MOST IMPORTANT PLAY OF THE GAME:rotfl:. I forget what star receiver it was but he was a gold. That was one of the best laughs I have every had playing this game.:rotfl:
