things in this game arent balanced

for instance.. the generic O line plays just like a gold O line

the legend D line doesnt play much different from a generic D line

legend RBs WRs QBs CBs all play like they're on steroids.

now how does this not balance out the game? well, even if i have 2 legends on d line vs a generic o line.. the rb still runs like he has pro bowl blockers

im not saying its complete BS.. but id like stats to be a little more realistic.. 3-4 yards a carry doesnt bother me.. its expected when its somebody like barry or smith

but its those stupid 6-7 yard carries every freaking down. now i could understand if i didnt have any legends on D

Which brings me to DB & LB AI

now at first.. i was sold on the AI on this game. but after playing 100 games.. the flaws really begin to show.. for instance.. if my corner has a set play.. he will not break that assignment .. he will let a WR just fly right by him.

did i mention retarded jumps? when passing to the flats.. LBs usually do this stupid jump tht NEVER blocks a pass.. it usually allows a first down

even though most of have a serious advantage.. they can be completely retarded.. for instance.. a WR or TE will not turn around UNTIL they finally run their route.. which is very UNREALISTIC.. the ball usually hits them on the head or back.

The only problem I have is WR's vs CB, IMO it seems if they are a legend that they seem to be quite over powering to generic CB's on the out/in routes and things.

here is what i use to stop the running game. note that i havn't give up more than 60 ypg with this combo. only gave up 50 something yards once. all i need is 3 LB. gold - tomas, silver - loyd, and any bronze MLB. give it a try, once you get a hang of it, you'll start winning

You have to build your defense around to what your strenght is. I am ok at attacking a running back. I am not that great in coverage. I am betting better though. I use a gold and silver corners. I have 1 star linebacker(bronze) and 2 star dlinemen (bronze) I do pretty well. I can sometimes hold the top players to minimal scores, but there is just times where its hard because well they are good.

YOu also have to know what plays to call. Zone helps alot. man on out routes is horrlbe. YOu can get lucky every once in a while, but to handle the outs you need to play zones.

Aye its about knowing the plays I had a guy destroy me with just one gold player on offense and he was cool enough to tell me what I was doing wrong. Had he not helped me out I would have said its not a fair game too.
