X-PLAY on G4 Says Madden & APF 2K8 are both 3 Stars

XPLAY ON THE G4 CHANNEL REVIEWED MADDEN AND APF AND STATED BOTH GAMES ARE WORTH 3 OUT OF 5 STARS.

- THEY STATED THEY FOUND IT ODD THAT THE YEAR 2K SPORTS OUTSOLD THEM SUDDENLY EA SPORTS BROUGHT ALL NFL RIGHTS.

- THEY STATED THAT MADDEN 08 IS JUST A BETTER LOOKING 07 VERSION AND THE NEW PLAYER ATTRIBUTES IS JUST A WASTE OF TIME AND UNFAIR. EXAMPLE: IF YOUR RB HAS A BRICK WALL ICON HE WILL NEVER BE TACKLED.

- THEY STATED THE ONLY REASON 2K HAS ISSUES IS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE A FRANCHISE MODE AND THE NFL LISCENSE.

OVERALL IT SHOWS THAT 2K HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BREAK OUT BIG FOR 2009. OH, ALSO IF THEY DROP THE PRICE TO LETS SAY 40 OR 45 BUCKS, WE MAY SEE A MAJOR PRICE HIKE IN SALES.

the bottom line is.. neither 2k nor madden dropped a complete game this year.

if you compare 2k8 to 2k5 and madden 08 to madden 05 .. the 05's come out on top..

and the difference is.. i pay to play games. i dont have people paying me to make games sound better

because theres no way anybody can honestly rate madden a 9.0

yep... most def tru but some peeps just love to point to reviews as their reason why one game is better than another. In the end, it's you the gamer that matters. That's why when 08 came out I would hit up peeps on my friends list asking them what they thought and every answer was the same... don't buy it, it's the same damn game as 07. Not surprising to me at all but it does make you wonder what is going on in the head of some of those reviewers.

Olivia Munn is pretty hot. Morgan Webb has her moments where she looks hot for a second, but then they switch the camera angle and she isn't as hot as she seemed.

I am definitely feeling that chick from attack of the show. I just wanted to post another perspective because I read all day about how madden is better than APF and the only reason given is that it has the NFL Liscense instead of looking at gameplay. I am the first to admit 2K8 is not all it could be but its a good damn start.
